INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- Bought fish, fries, slaw and shrimp. Tasted OK but not the usual taste. Had diarrhea 4 hours later and urine smelled of fish. With all the seasonings and breading on the fish could have been tainted. I have tried to file complaint with company but finding a site to do it has not been possible.

RIPLEY, WEST VIRGINIA -- My orders (2) consisted of fish, fries and chicken. It was warmed over slop. The price was approx. six (6) dollars more than advertised, no soda included (that was extra). Needless to say, I won't return.

I was very curious about Long John Silver's Lobster Tails at only $3.99. Actually the taste was good, but my curiosity got the better of me, so I took the bread coating off of several of them, and lo and behold what I found was actually very small shrimp!!! How can this company advertise this as "Lobster?" It is NOT!!! I hope some government agency shuts this fraud down, but then when EVER did a government agency do its job??

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- College Park: Two times these people have not put my entire order in the bag. I tried to call them only to receive no answer. I emailed the corporate office TWICE and also I received no answer. I will no longer buy from ANY of their businesses. In the future I will get my take-out seafood from Captain D's, they have never messed up my order and the portions are better too.

SANTA ROSA, MINNESOTA -- Stopped at KFC/Long John Silver's in Santa Rosa. The shop was so filthy and nasty. Kids fooling around, messing up orders and the food was nasty. If the health department walked in it would have been closed down it was so bad, especially the food prep area. Someone needs to take control here before someone gets really sick. It has put me off Long John Silver's for good.

WEST FRANKFORT, ILLINOIS -- We have always been satisfied with the prompt friendly service at Long John Silver's and eat there quite often. The food has always been well prepared and quickly served by friendly personnel.

OAK CREEK, WISCONSIN -- I echo the previous complaint about being unable to log into your website to complete the customer survey. Tried several times, with no luck. When I try this same website for "other" restaurant surveys I have had no problems.

ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS -- Service was outstanding, Robert went out of his way to give us the best options to save us money. Fish was too greasy & salty. The grease saturated the napkin. Combinations were limited.

WACO, TEXAS -- The last time I was at Long John Silver's was when I was a kid, about 8. I loved going there because of the tartar sauce. Yum! Wow! I cannot believe how much that restaurant has changed. The portions were huge and the shrimp, so disappointing. I picked off the batter to reveal a tiny shrimp, which looked like a massive shrimp with the batter on. The fries were great, but the tartar sauce was terrible.

BATAVIA, NEW YORK -- A new Long John Silver's, just opened in Batavia N.Y. We just gave it a try and we were quite disappointed in the chicken. The batter was so hard it was difficult to chew. I could tell it wasn't freshly cooked. It apparently was stored in a warming compartment. We have patronized the business at other locations over the years and we were always pleased with both the chicken and fish. I'm sorry to say, we will no longer buy from this location.
