FAIRLESS HILLS, PENNSYLVANIA -- We went into Mealey's Furniture in Fairless Hills today, Sunday, February 5, 2017 to look for a twin sleeper sofa for our son's bedroom. The cost was $5000.00 and on sale for $2500.00, what in the world are they thinking when they priced this item. There was nothing special about this piece of furniture. I then looked at the rest of the furniture around this twin sleeper sofa and realized that all the furniture was overpriced as well. We have bought most of our furniture from Mealey's through the years and I am sad to say that we will not go back as long as the price structure remains this outrageous!!!

WARMINSTER, PENNSYLVANIA -- Do not buy from Mealey's Furniture or the parent company named Regency Furniture. I placed a big order this fall. Literally everything went wrong. First my saleswoman left or got fired. My order was ignored. I had to do the work of their employees and track my furniture down. Not even an apology. I was promised delivery in a few weeks. That came and went. Finally they called and said everything was in and set up my delivery time.

Later that same night another representative called and said that the first representative was wrong and that my purchase was on back order. They ignored my delivery instructions and had to come back to my house 3 times. How disgraceful is this! They even attempted to deliver broken up furniture. Their head buffoon is a man Neanderthal named Ed **. He makes no apologies for his incompetent staff or self. He even yells. I hope they all go out of business.

BERWYN, PENNSYLVANIA -- In mid-Sept purchased two love seats and an ottoman and was told they would be delivered on Oct. 2nd. No call, no show. We called them, and they said they won't be in until the first week in Nov. So, we decided to cancel the order. They said, "No wait, would it be okay to deliver ONE of the love seats on 10/18? The warehouse has it and just needs to bring it to our store to get it to you for delivery." Today (10/19), still no call, no show. I called in and they said, all three won't be in until the first week of Nov. Don't ever buy furniture here if you ever plan on actually getting furniture at some point.

NEW JERSEY, NEW JERSEY -- Please don't buy from them. I am 65 and purchased three living room leather couches 14 months ago. Now the springs are going through the couch. I called and was told they only have a 12 month warranty. But I purchased the insurance. To get the insurance to respond, you must first go online and get forms they send to your email, then fill them out, then take pictures, which I don't know how to do, then wait ten days for a answer if they will come out.

It's a ripoff. Now I have to file a complaint with BBB and Attorney General's Office. This company is a fraud. So today I also contacted Action News in Philly. I need to expose this company. Taking out what I did and now stuck with nothing but a spring in butt isn't what I paid for. Lucky I still owe Wells Fargo who finance the furniture. I told them I ain't paying until they come out for service.

Not Fixing the Problem

WARMINSTER, PENNSYLVANIA -- The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They lie and tell you anything you want to hear and do nothing to help you. They take your money but won't fix the problem. I've had my hutch for a year and it is still not fixed... Save your money. Go to Gamburgs. Do not go to Mealey's. I wish I would have listened to my own advice.

WARMINISTER, PENNSYLVANIA -- Run don't walk from Mealey's. They will sell you a warranty that they say will cover everything. It does not. You get the runaround when you try to use it. "Oh we do not use that company anymore." They will lie to your face saying they will make things right but never do. I have all of the emails as documentation to prove my point.

My Purchase Was With Cash And They Making Me Wait 21days For A Check From Corporate

1960, PENNSYLVANIA -- I purchased a sectional sofa with cash on a Monday and had to cancel the order on Tuesday. I was told I'll get the full amount back BUT I have to wait for a check from the corporate office which could take up to 21 days, UNBELIEVABLE.

NEW JERSEY -- Ordered furniture from Mealey's. I have been waiting for 3 weeks now. No one from store calls to give you an update on your order. They are very rude when you call and check on the status. They have a clause if you cancel your order. There is 34% restocking fee!!! Really!!! The best is the salesperson and customer service kept reassuring me that it would be in before Christmas. Now it due to come in some time that week!!! I would have never ordered from here had I known I would be sitting on the floor for Christmas!

MOUNT LAUREL, NEW JERSEY -- Went to Mealey's to look for a table. They suck, that's all I can say. I found the perfect end table and the price was right, but it's either 99.00 to have it delivered or 20 to have it delivered to the store when I can pick it up in 2 weeks. Seriously??? So it's not the price quoted, it's 20 more? Never again.

WHITEHALL, PENNSYLVANIA -- Despite many contrary reviews my furniture was ordered and delivered as promised. In fact it actually came earlier. Everyone from salesman and manager were extremely helpful. Delivery team was good as well. I wasn't sure what to expect as I read the reviews after my purchase but everything worked out as promised. No complaints.
