Autosomal dna testing botched

Kit number MH-88TJ46 I previously complained to myheritage that my results did not match my known family history, they don't seem to be concerned. My 1st cousin has had his autosomal dna tested and he doesn't show up on my list of dna matches, so I am quite confident that my test was botched. And before you go there I will say with 100% confidence that he is the son of my aunt, we are both firstborn 5 years apart. I refuse to give myheritage one thin dime for any premium services until they address their mistake.

Both my son and I purchase tests only to find out we had to pay hundreds more in monthly fees to see more than the percentage of relatedness.... He is my natural son...so we knew the results. You can't access any more info whatsoever...unless you shell out hundreds of dollars. They use your info as bait to scam other unsuspecting fools, like us. The dishonesty is absolutely incredible. Absolute criminals.

VIRGINIA -- I received a DNA kit as a Christmas gift and sent the sample in sometime in January. It is now March 7th and still have not received results. Now they are claiming I will not get the results until sometime in April. My father mailed his into Ancestry.com a week after I mailed mine and he has had his results for two weeks. Hugely disappointed. I would suggest people go with either Ancestry or 23 and me.

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -- Both my parents are from southern Italy. I've even met my great grandparents and researched them too. They had me with 0 Italian. That's laughable. And ALL the ethnicities they had were unheard of in my family. Don't waste your money. I took the Ancestry.com test and they were pretty accurate, except for one of the small ethnicities that's questionable. I will try 23andMe next.

Package Returned as Undeliverable - Impossible to Get in Touch With Customer Service

UTAH -- Ordered package on June 17; apparently shipped out but then was returned to sender as undeliverable. Attempts to reach customer service have been unbelievably frustrating. No replies to emails. Phone support is also non-existent. Beware this company. Either hopelessly incompetent or a scam.

Absolute Scam

Be very wary of this organization. They put additional charges on your credit card without approval. So far in the last 2 weeks I have had $380.57 AUD in charges from this company. The full package is $215, which I signed up for, but since then an additional $171.59 has been deducted. Requests for answers have gone ignored. Overall this seems to be a fraudulent organization.

NORTH CAROLINA -- I was having trouble viewing the screens on MyHeritage site and contacted the Help Dept. They listened and asked good questions and gave me clear instructions. Within 24 hours they supplied me with information so that I could properly view the screens. It was not an issue on MyHeritage website... it was my lack of computer skills in that I was viewing the screens very zoomed (enlarged) and learned how to adjust the zoom to a reasonable viewing size. Very helpful.

ONLINE -- Needed answers for online family tree building and the customer support people I spoke with were excellent.

Confusion of Cost of Upgrade From Premier to Premier Plus

I misunderstood the information crediting my remaining Premier subscription to the cost of Premier Plus. What was shown was the additional cost not the total cost. I queried the transaction with the MyHeritage Support Team (Avshalom) who explained my error. I followed with a request to revert my subscription to Premier and credit my payment, which was quickly done without any fuss. A no nonsense approach to rectify a simple misunderstanding and credit the error. My credit was in my bank in three days. Excellent service!

It was easy to navigate MyHeritage's phone tree and my call was answered promptly by Natalie. She asked appropriate security questions and then asked me to describe my problem. She quickly identified the source of my problem and corrected it. She was both very pleasant and competent.
