Does Not Cover Anything

We purchased this warranty in December of 2011. Never got copy of policy and said it was a power wrap and dealer said was bumper to bumper. We have engine trouble now and a year to go on contract. They tell us it only covers external no internal. 3,500 dollars later we are out. Please don't buy any.

Worst service ever

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I bought a 2010 Lexus GX 460 so that I can use in my family vacations. It has been two days my vehicle is in work shop to get its A.I.R Pump replaced. First it was tomorrow till they can come and approve my charge; However to my surprise, now they say it's not till Monday (6 days later). I had to cancel my trip and pay all the cancellation charges because of them. The so-called manager Ms. Kristy/Crysti is rude and has no customer service attitude. She can be reached at 1800-548-1875 option **.

Extended Vehicle Service Agreement-Pinnacle Coverage

WESTERVILLE, OHIO -- To start off, I want to say, the 2006 pickup was bought NEW. We live in Ohio where weather is changeable. These extended service agreements DO NOT allow for normal wear and tear, just rust and corrosion. Pickup is 9 1/2 years old. Major brake work is needed and it is not covered, due to corrosion, not wear and tear. My advice, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON EXTENDED SERVICE AGREEMENTS. Save money for repairs!

Spent thousands on a "preferred" plan and just found out the front end needs major work. Now, I've learned if the warranty doesn't specifically name the part, its not covered. So, who knows all of the front suspension parts by name anyway? It seemed obvious to me that when it listed the front suspension as covered, it really was. But NOPE. My truck needs tie rod ends and a pitman arm. The contract lists from suspension, but not those specific parts. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. Save the $$ yourself for repairs later on down the road...

Horrible Service, Greedy and Useless

WESTERVILLE -- Very disappointed, they refuse to fix parts that aren't working because they “haven't failed” even though the dealership said it could potentially be dangerous to drive and/or break other parts due to the parts not working properly. If a part is failing to do its job, it has failed. Unfortunately, this company couldn't care less about their customers or their cars, they care about the money, they don't want to help you and they'll do anything to get out of it.

OHIO -- National Auto Care is a joke. The supervisor Kristy is so rude. After reading the reviews I automatically knew they were going to deny my claim & the next morning I got a call from my transmission coming saying they did deny it. This company is out to keep money and take from us. Please stay away. Now I have to pay for a transmission that should be covered by them. I will continue to work until I have justice.

Positive Feedback on National Auto Care Warranty
By -

WESTERVILLE, OHIO -- The extended warranty on my vehicle expired recently, and I wanted to post my experience with it. I bought the Pinnacle Plan from National Auto Care in Ohio (off the internet, and actually through a Ford dealer in Illinois or somewhere; I'm located in Texas) just before the factory warranty expired, and the extended warranty was for 50,000 additional miles.

I had read a lot of good and bad things about extended warranties and this company, but didn't want to go without a warranty as I was worried about potential repair costs. The vehicle is a Mini Cooper, and BMW parts are typically not cheap.

So, I went along for about 3 years and did not make any claims, and then as the end of the warranty period was coming up I took the car into the dealer to get the A/C and the other things that had broken fixed; I couldn't ever find the time to go into the dealer but as the warranty was about to expire I had to get on it. The items totaled up to about $2500 or more I think.

Anyway, it took less than a day for the dealer to get the warranty company approval and everything was done, that is, there was no squabbling about what was covered and what wasn't. The dealer got confused about the rental car costs, and I had to file separately to get that payment later, but the company sent me a check to cover that pretty quickly as well. Overall then, I thought it was a good deal - the warranty more than paid for itself, the warranty company was easy to deal with and overall it worked out well, so I would recommend it.
