On the Radio Shack website they offered a sale price for their Syntax Olevia 26" TV of $549, including a manufacturer's $200 rebate. I thought this was a great deal, so I bought three. When I received the TV's, I downloaded the rebate form only to find out that the offer was limited to one rebate per purchase/household.
This was in the fine print and was not mentioned ANYWHERE on the Radio Shack website. The ONLY way to see this little bit of info was to download and read the rebate PDF, which no one does prior to purchase. If it's a limited manufacturer's rebate the Radio Shack website should have said so rather than touting the final price as $200 less because of a rebate you may or may not get. Shame on you RADIO SHACK!
RENO, NEVADA -- I bought a CD Player for my friend in a nursing home. He decided he wanted a 3 or 5 Disc Player instead of single. He lost the receipt, so I asked them to look it up on the Computer. I was told there were several sold and because I paid cash they could not find it. Therefore no refund but they would take it in trade on something else. I called the Company, they returned my call saying they couldn't reach the Manager of the Store to check it out. I don't need anything else and will never trade with RadioShack again. I want my $75.15 back as I am on a fixed income.
BIDDEFORD, MAINE -- They gladly sold us 2 Galaxys with all the extra accessories for a lot of cash. Next day we were treated as strangers. Their help line said it "did not recognize our phone #s that they registered", then they hung up. Called the store but "Tommy" would not speak with us or call back. They work on commission, and then you are strangers after the sale. CAUTION, steer clear of RadioShack.

PENNSYLVANIA -- Radio Shack is selling a camcorder the Vivitar DVR-990hd, after about a year the junk battery goes dead and a replacement is not available, so the $250.00 dollars you spent on it, is wasted. It is nothing more than a throw away camera that they don't have the customer respect to tell you. Call Radio Shack customer service number and take a trip down a road of frustration totally worthless, after selling this junk I wouldn't want to talk to anyone either Avoid Radio Shack, they don't have any morals, just corporate greed.
