KEARNY, NEW JERSEY -- False advertisement regarding their promotion for $10 back for every $50 you spend. They don't include an expiration date nor do they mention that coupons expire in 30 days. They also take longer than the 7 days they claim to give you the coupons. I waited 14 days, which takes from the time to use my 5 coupons. Also I reported them to the BBB.
NEVADA -- I'm a victim of identity theft and Radio Shack has surveillance of the suspect(s). The police investigator contacted the manager and gave him information to give to corporate regarding the case. He crumpled up the paper and threw it in the garbage. In my opinion Radio Shack condones identity theft and they weren't cooperative with the police. Why would a reputable company protect dishonest people and not be brought to justice???
SAN DIEGO UNITED STATES, CALIFORNIA -- The store in The United States here in San Diego, the store Radio Shack in Balboa Av. opens every day from Monday to Friday at 9 a.m.-9 P.M. and it's been more than an hour and a half that there's customers waiting and leaving because the store is really locked and closed. Doesn't say or show why, please and thank you.
SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA -- I didn't need it, but I was pressured into buying it. Now, I don't want it. I have the receipt, but cannot get it refunded. I had it one month and now what? Give it away? I've work hard for the money. All I wanted was a phone for $59.99. It cost me $181.48 and no refunds.
PEORIA, ARIZONA -- Went to return a defective product and the Manager (Terry) was really unprofessional and refused to help. After reading the huge number of complaints online it seems that poor customer service is not an isolated incident but more of a corporate philosophy.
WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- Went in for something simple and waited to pay for over 15 minutes. The service was appalling and slow. I finally got to the cashier who wanted to try to sell me something and then was rude when I didn't want to comply. If you want to see the decline of the U.S., go to this place. Service was terrible, ill informed, and unprofessional.
ADRIAN, MICHIGAN -- 3/26/12. Purchased the Enercell lithium battery, the cost is $20.99 for one battery. While installing it I noticed the date on the battery was November 2009. There is no date on the outside of the package so the consumer doesn't know how old the battery is until the package is opened. With the current price of gasoline hovering around $4.00 per gallon, the choice to drive 40 miles roundtrip to return it makes no sense either. Thanks RadioShack. Tried to email RS directly but couldn't find their email address on their website (big surprise).
MINNESOTA -- Purchased a Sprint HTC phone through a store kiosk 2 yrs ago and took the extended plan. Phone was damaged recently, went to Sprint but they said had to go back to kiosk. Went to kiosk, they no longer held the contract - said it was RadioShack. Went to RadioShack store and they gave me phone number to call. Called the phone number and found out my service plan expired two days earlier and they would not honor it after all that chasing around. Will NOT do business with RadioShack again. HORRIBLE customer service!
GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- My husband went into the store in Glendale, Arizona this past weekend and while trying to ask a question of the girl who was working, she continued to text the entire time. A couple of times, she asked him to repeat what he had said because she was paying no attention to him... her full attention was on her phone and her own text messaging. It was absolutely rude and the worst customer service my husband had ever encountered.
