Just wanted to say that it was fairly easy using the computer to add minutes. It was so easy for me, especially after trying to do it by phone. Not a problem. The only problem was when the battery went dead in exactly a year, it wasn't so easy to call customer service, and have my remaining minutes transferred to the new phone, but they came through, and I was happy about it. Took a little work though.
Since activating my TracFone a year ago, I have receiving text messages from them advertising "special deals" for minutes. These text messages deduct minutes from my phone no matter how I try to avoid it. So, I am paying for THEIR advertising! I have called numerous times and visited their website to try to resolve this problem with no success. The messages keep coming. I have asked that they reimburse me minutes, but they refused. I will not be buying anymore airtime cards and will not use their service ever again.
I have had Tracphones for years. This past year has been a nightmare. They sent us free phones. I have been on the phone the past 2 months trying to get these phones activated. They keep giving me ticket numbers, changing the phone numbers, being put on hold for numerous hours. I am now going to contact the BBB. This is crazy!!!
