CONNECTICUT -- I ordered Frontline Plus in April. Product came in 2 original packages and it took little over 2 weeks to get it. Yes, it's from Europe, but I'm also from one of the European countries and know that product well. The price of Frontline is also much cheaper there and maybe that's why this company is offering such a good deal.
But I did read negative reviews so I did 2 things: I took my product to the vet to confirm it's safe to use it. Vet only confirmed that crazy US regulations prevent from selling it in here but EU Frontline is updated and works even better! It is matter of time when they will update it in here... I contacted customer service to check if they would take return and they contacted me back within 2 days and apologized for inconvenience. They would refund my money.
Obviously I'm very satisfied customer and I'm going to keep my Frontline Plus. I feel safe and confident to use it on my pitt.
DELAWARE -- I ordered Frontline Plus and it was shipped and in my mailbox in 5 business days. Was concerned about them switching the product but they did not. I got exactly what I ordered which was Frontline Plus for small dogs and it cost half of what it does in the US.
HAYWARD, CALIFORNIA -- I ordered this product today (1/9/13) and then looked at all the negative reviews so I panicked and emailed them to cancel my order. Two emails came back?? However, then I called the company - they were very courteous and my money was refunded within 30 minutes through PayPal. I'm not sure of the product reviews... I'm hoping they are not from other companies who can't compete with their prices and that it is not about the quality of the product. Customer service seems excellent to me...
To make a very long story short. Company is in Canada. Not the US. They probably have no consumer laws to follow as we do. I ordered Frontline plus they sent me Frontline Combo. Sent it back after calling my credit card company to report a scam. Got my $110.00 credit. I have been getting harassing emails x 1 month. I called them and got into a fight with the "brain surgeon" that answered the phone. They said they received the Frontline combo crap back but they are going to charge me $40.00 because I returned the product. I had to laugh. I told them I was going to sue them for the $12.00 it cost me to send their crap back.
I had cancelled my credit card so they can't steal the number or try charging all their crazy fees. DO NOT BUY from this company not only because they are stealing from people but their products could harm your pet!
SADDLE BROOK, NEW JERSEY -- PETCARE - I ordered a 12 month supply of "Frontline Plus", with free shipping, from Budget Pet Care. They sent me a substitute product made in the UK. This they said was due to a manufacturer's shortage. There was no attempt to solicit my approval for the substitution prior to their shipment. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and were willing to let me return the product. However, they would be deducting $5.00 for the original shipping charges. This was for a product I did not order!!! BEWARE! If their substitution practice is unacceptable practice is unacceptable to you, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!
SADDLE BROOK, NEW JERSEY -- I like so many other consumers, fell for the cheap Frontline plus ad that Budget Pet Care has on the internet, I ordered Frontline plus but when my order came they sent me Frontline combo which is the foreign version of Frontline plus; enclosed was a letter which said they were out of Frontline plus (it seems as though they are always out of it). While I understand that the Frontline combo is in essence the same as the Frontline plus... I did not order that and if I had wanted the combo I could have bought it elsewhere for about $20.00 cheaper...
I called the company several times about a refund and asked for a prepaid envelope to send their product back (why should I pay to send it to them??). They kept giving me the runaround so I finally called my credit card company and told them I wanted to do a reversal, my credit card company issued me a refund. After Budget Pet Care learned of this they finally sent me an envelope so I packed up their product and mailed it back to them, now the post office has sent it back to me for insufficient postage...
This whole mess has been going on for 2 months now. I will call them today to ask for more postage to re-mail their package... WHAT A BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS THEY ARE!!!!!!! Also I filed a complaint with the Canadian better business against them and am thinking of filing a complaint with the postal service too because this is an ongoing thing they do to people and remember if you have this problem too, call your credit card company like I did...... FIGHT BACK AGAINST DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICE LIKE THIS.
STEINBACH MANITOBA R5G 1 Y 2 CANADA -- Lesson learned. Always check the reviews for a company that you've never used before. I ordered Frontline Plus for my dogs and cats and got a really good price. Aren't we all trying to save money these days??? Anyway, I received Frontline Combo with a letter that explained that there was such a high demand for Frontline Plus, they sent Frontline Combo instead which is supposed to be the same thing. I haven't tried it yet, but will be really interested in the outcome. I did some investigating on the Frontline Combo for cats and realize that it is sold by Amazon 15.00 cheaper.
So, I can only say that I have been scammed. What was a very good price for the Frontline Plus was not for the Frontline Combo. Live and learn. I will write as much as I can to whoever I can because I don't want anyone else to get taken by this company. I've also learned to buy only in the USA.
For those of you who say you have not received your flea control yet, you are lucky. I purchased two 6 pks of Frontline Plus in May. It did take over two weeks to receive the order but I saw nothing out of the ordinary when it arrived. The problem began when after a few days all three dogs were scratching from flea infestation. In addition, we have found ticks on the dogs. I had never had this problem with Frontline in the past and given this was my first Budget Pet Care order I began doing research. My search led me to an About.com web page with a description of counterfeit packaging of Flea products.
The one for Frontline stated that the foil blister pack would be entirely black and white on the FDA approved US packaging but on counterfeit packages, there would be orange bars across the back of the pack. There is definitely orange bars on my packages. At least I understand why my dogs have fleas. I am out almost $90 and have little hope of getting any of it back. Not to mention I could have harmed my animals and I certainly didn't help them.
Please be aware that while I have no idea whether any of their flea products are legit, the packages I was shipped fit to a T the description of Frontline not approved by the FDA for use in the US. Just be aware if you have purchased any flea/tick control products from this company.
HUNTSVILLE, MISSOURI -- I applied it twice to my cat and no results over a one month period, the fleas got worse. Sought a refund and got a male India voice ext. 585 asking me to send it to a P.O. box in Huntsville MO and he would issue a refund. They received the product over a week ago and have not refunded the money. Now they are asking for a tracking number. They told me to call them if needed. I tried to call and got a cheap voice mail during business hours and received no call back.
