BudgetPetCare offer the best price for products for my dogs and they always offer free shipping. I have all my family buying from them. The same way I will recommended to anyone that will like to save money.

I just found out Budgetpetcare online last month and I was leery at making purchases with a new company. However following my heart and the tempting rates that they offer iwas forced to make a purchase with them and me and my pet could have never been happier. Order arrived as specified, within timely manner. More money saved means more treats for my pets. Thank you budgetpetcare.

DELAWARE -- I ordered Frontline Plus and it was shipped and in my mailbox in 5 business days. Was concerned about them switching the product but they did not. I got exactly what I ordered which was Frontline Plus for small dogs and it cost half of what it does in the US.

Consider your experience to be in a small minority.

Since they are in Canada, slow shipping is to be expected and is what people have found.

You should have been concerned about them "switching product" because this company does it routinely.

Personally, I don't cut corners and look for bottom dollar prices when buying meds for my beloved dog. Each person is different though.

HAYWARD, CALIFORNIA -- I ordered this product today (1/9/13) and then looked at all the negative reviews so I panicked and emailed them to cancel my order. Two emails came back??; however, then I called the company -- they were very courteous and my money was refunded within 30 minutes through PayPal.

I'm not sure of the product reviews...I'm hoping they are not from other companies who can't compete with their prices and that it is not about the quality of the product.

Customer service seems excellent to me...

No, the complaints do not appear to be from competitors.

If you take the time to read the complaints, and look at the Budget Pet Care website, it fits together into a cohesive message. It's easy to see the cause - it is as advertised a budget pet care company - long waits for delivery and product substitutions are frequent.

You probably obtained a refund so quickly because you cancelled you order immediately. Some web portals work that way, but with others once the order is placed you can't.

The proof in the pudding IMO is what happens to customers who don't cancel right away. Once your order is processed, they want to wait several weeks ot see if your order is received prior to issuing a refund.

To make a very long story short. Company is in Canada. Not the US. They probably have no consumer laws to follow as we do. I ordered Frontline plus they sent me Frontline Combo. Sent it back after calling my credit card co to report a scam. Got my $110.00 credit. I have been getting harassing emails x 1 month. I called them and got into a fight with the "brain surgeon" that answered the phone. They said they received the Frontline combo crap back but they are going to charge me $40.00 because I returned the product. I had to laugh. I told them I was going to sue them for the $12.00 it cost me to send their crap back. I had cancelled my credit card so they can't steal the number or try charging all their crazy fees. DO NOT BUY from this company not only because they are stealing from people but their products could harm your pet!

Frontline Combo is identical to Frontline Plus, so it won't harm your pet - it will work the same. It's the brand name used in Europe. Same manufacturer, same formulation.

If you google frontline combo you will see many links - it is COUNTERFEIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Counterfeit? Where did you get that little nugget of information? It's not a knock-off or a counterfeit item - or even a generic version. Frontline combo is genuinely the exact same product as Frontline plus, just with a different name on the box. The same goes with several other brand names. I.e.- Mr. Clean is called Mr. Proper in Germany, Dawn dishwashing liquid is called Fairy, Carl's Jr. is Hardees, Johnson and Johnson is Penaten, etc.

And to the original poster - Did you ever actually have a rational conversation with whoever you talked to at the company you received this product from? Maybe you should try a more listening and broaden your mind a little before you start threatening to sue. I think in front of a judge, your claim of "I ORDERED SAUSAGE, AND THEY SENT ME SAUSAGE AND THEN REFUNDED MY MONEY AND I'M MAD AS HELL AND I WANT THEM TO GIVE ME $12!!" would not go very far.

SADDLE BROOK, NEW JERSEY -- PETCARE

I ordered a 12 month supply of "Frontline Plus", with free shipping, from Budget Pet Care. They sent me a substitute product made in the UK. This they said was due to a manufacturer's shortage. There was no attempt to solicit my approval for the substitution prior to their shipment. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and were willing to let me return the product. However, they would be deducting $5.00 for the original shipping charges. This was for a product I did not order!!!

BEWARE! IF THEIR SUBSTITUTION PRACTICE IS UNACCEPTABLE TO YOU, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Is the substitute Frontline Combo? If so it is made by the same manufacturer and is the identical formulation, just under another brand name.

Therefore, there is an argument that this is not an illegal practice but an allowed substitution. In fact, Budget Pet Care has made that argument and you should be able to find it online somewhere.

OTOH, if it is some other product, that is an entirely different matter.

Same thing happened to me. I ordered Frontline Plus and received Frontline Combo. This is not what I order - why should I be deducted $5. My understanding that it has the same ingredients but Frontline Plus also protects against mosquitoes. Not believing the "due to high demand" story. BEWARE.

You won't get any money out of them!!

I placed an order with Budget petcare, when I called them I week later they told me my order had not been shipped for 6 days!! due to 'technical difficulties', I was told 7 - 14 business day, so I called back then, saying my order still hadn't got here. They told my it could take up to 28 business days from the date it was shipped FUNNY HOW THEY DIDN'T SHIP IT FOR A WEEK AFTER IT WAS ORDERED!


So I called them on my 28th business day, and was told I'd get a refunded AND THAT THEY WOULD DO IT IN 3 - 5 business days, NOTHING HAPPENED, I called my bank, they said I claim my money back through them which was a relief, I NOW HAVE MY MONEY BACK THANKS TO CHASE BANK

Your bank can claim your money back through the Budget Pet Care, but they can only do it from 2 months from when the order was placed, so if id of waited much longer I would not have been able to get my money back.

***My bank said this is a really common for companies to do, promise a refund then keep changing the date so they get passed their 2 months, and you can't get your money back. So if your owed money by Budget Pet Care then call your card company TODAY because I promise you you won't be getting your money back from Budget Pet Care!!!

There are two issues here. First is shipping time, second is refunds.

The Budget Pet Care website clearly lays out both the expectation for shipping time and the timing for requesting a refund (if you don't get the order), and it is as you describe.

It is true that you have a certain window to get assistance from your CC bank, IF you can't get a refund from a retailer. My advise would be that if people are going to use BPC, that they watch the calendar carefully and if the order isn't received file their request promptly.

I would advise further against using them. I don't think they are a "scam" as some people suggest, but between the long shipping time and nervousness over having to get a refund, it isn't worth it to me. I use my vet for meds - the discount isn't great enough to warrant the headache.

They Sell Illegal Products

STEINBACH/MANITOBA -- I ordered some flea/tick meds from my dogs online from this company with good prices (turns out its in Canada). I had ordered Frontline Plus. When it came, it came with Frontline Combo instead and a note that said they were oversold, that this was the same stuff manufactured by the same company, just for sale in the UK. So, being the trusting soul that I am, I called the manufacturer (MERIAL), who confirmed that they made both but that the Frontline Combo was not approved for sale in the US. She could not even confirm that it was the same formulation.

I went back to the online company BudgetPetCare.com who said they would be more than happy to take it back, but they would not pay for shipping. I am going after them as I am an FDA employee, but no one should buy from this company.

Where products are licensed for exactly the same use in the destination country the animal owner is legally able to choose where to source the products from."

Good luck "going after them." My guess would be they have checked this out.

correct, you purchased without a prescription, and you should learn to enjoy non-American items. if you want made for America items, use a prescription and pay more.

Budget Pet Care and Canada Vet Care are run by the same people. It's all a massive scam. The office is based in the UK under the cover name of Amdega Brands Ltd. BPC and CVC sell prescription products, it's illegal to sell these abroad. Don't buy from them, it's all a money making scheme designed to steal your cash.

I sent back this package.. Return to sender and they are telling me they have no return address on package. However, the PO would not have taken back the package without a return address. Now they won't credit my money at all. I was honest and ordered this in good faith as well as paying for the frontline plus. This was the second time they had sent me a substitute. I read all the complaints and realize I will never use Budget Pet Care again. I do want my money back. And I wish someone would do something to make sure they do not sell to the US. I also went through PayPal and someone needs to inform PAYPAL as well. They also are very rude and all they care about is making money on a fraudulent item.

the products are not counterfeit or a scam merial make the products in france exactly the same ingredients if you google frontline plus vs frontline combo it tells you the information, if it was a scam you would never receive your product or your money back...which I have done in the past..I think people are too quick to jump to conclusions they sell from uk and canadian pharmacies..surely like me being in the us and buying from another country would expect there to be differences in packaging..which that is all there is...Budget pet care cannot sell prescription products so I don't know where you get that from all their items are over the counter..look at FAQ section it says about combo there..

EPA cannot approve products for other countries just like other countries cannot approve things to be sold in the US..therefore its not illegal..

no frontline products are made in the us anyway! its france!

I have done a lot of comparison shopping for Frontline for dogs/cats, for Capstar and Budget Pet Care.com has the very best prices. For those of you who are concerned that this may be different than the Frontline in the US, this is the exact same product, just check the active ingredients. They offer free shipping on all orders and your product arrives quickly. I highly recommend them not only because of the value, but also because of their excellent customer service.

Bottom line this company is a scam. I ordered Frontline plus, I was sent the European version Frontline combo. I was told in a letter that it was the same thing, but it does not work on my cat. When I called to get a refund I was told I would only get a refund on what I had not used and that I had to mail it back to them. They have told me they are sending me postage so I do not have to spend any more money. It took about 2-3 weeks to get my product. My veterinary clinic warned me about ordering Frontline online and now I wished I would have listened to her. I would not recommend buying from this company.

I believe it is the same product - Fipronil + methohprene.

This company is in Canada, so the fact that you got a European version isn't surprising. 2-3 weeks is about the delivery time Budget Pet Care advertises on the website, and they warn you to order 4-6 weeks before you need the product.

I don't see evidence that the company is a "scam", but on the other hand I probably wouldn't use them. I checked the price difference and it wasn't worth the wait and not being sure I had a fresh product.

They are reimbursing you for the postage, which is good of them.

This company is crap

STEINBACH, MANITOBA CANADA -- You would be doing yourself a favor not to use this company. I ordered Frontline spray from them almost two months ago and haven't received the product. I did receive two calls from the company saying that they couldn't process my order at that time. I figured the product was just on back order or out of stock. Now almost two months later I figure they have had planty of time to fill the order and tried calling many times. I finally get a call back and they inform me that they never had an order for me even though my credit card was billed and that they had called me about delays on the order. Now they say that my money will be refunded in 3-5 days and I really don't think that will be the case at all being she failed to ask my about any information which you might need to give me a refund, you know since I never had an order to start with.
Very unhappy with this company, SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Budget Pet Care Rip-off

ALASKA -- We ordered Frontline Plus for our pet in December. Although it took over 2 months to receive, my biggest issue with the product is that it didn't work !! We never had this problem when purchasing Frontline from our Vet. Our dog suffered a week with fleas and she also had a tick after using this product, at that point, I decided to try another application, which I know you shouldn't do, but she was so restless! Well surprise, the
second application did nothing ! I will never trust this company again.

Did you check the country of origin? Did you call Budget Pet Care to complain about the effectiveness of the product and a possible refund?

Personally, I buy my Frontline and heartworm meds from my vet. I checked, and the price is not much higher than a place like 1800petmeds. They give 1 free when you buy 6 FL, and there is a rebate on the heartworm.
