Ordered Frontline Plus. Received Frontline Combo. Received a form letter stating that there is a shortage of Frontline Plus and are substituting. Shipped back today. Called the company who got very agitated. They said they don't have much Frontline plus and combo is the same. I explained that this is false advertising and that I need to agree to a substitution. Anyhow they said they are going to charge me star $5.00 for return. I told them I am NOT paying $5.00. I spent $12.00 to ship back. Stay away from this company! I reported to the BBB today. Also I cancelled the credit card I used afraid they will steal the number.

NEW JERSEY -- Same issue as others - when I called they said they know combo is only approved in the UK and not the US. When I asked why they took my money and sent the wrong product she said they were out of stock and have too many customers to communicate with. Ha - should have read the reviews first since they pose themselves as a NJ company but then defend how the products are the same. I would like a manufacturer letter saying this vs the retailer. Fortunate that we pay through VISA and I filed a complaint. If they want their product returned they can pay for shipping it back and not charge me a restocking fee. BEWARE of this company. Customer service no help.

They told me US vets don't like Frontline combo since they want a customer to buy from a vet. Not true - all retailers and Amazon sell Frontline plus and it's readily available and not out of stock.

Beware-scam-cheat!!! First and only ever purchase. Switches brand name Frontline plus to Frontline combo that is not even listed on their website. Over 2 weeks for delivery - rude customer service if you happen to get someone after numerous attempts. Small print so they say, I could not find, that they have the right to switch products at their choice without notifying you.

Same price????? For product I did not order. Only 5 days to return they charge $5 restock and I pay return postage. Good luck on getting refund. I have already filed dispute with my credit card company. Usually I am very careful but I got suckered by this so-called wonderful company. Run and don't look back.

SADDLE BROOK, NEW JERSEY -- I like so many other consumers, fell for the cheap Frontline plus ad that Budget Pet Care has on the internet. I ordered Frontline plus but when my order came they sent me Frontline combo which is the foreign version of Frontline plus; enclosed was a letter which said they were out of Frontline plus (it seems as though they are always out of it). While I understand that the Frontline combo is in essence the same as the Frontline plus... I did not order that and if I had wanted the combo I could have bought it elsewhere for about $20.00 cheaper.

I called the company several times about a refund and asked for a prepaid envelope to send their product back (why should I pay to send it to them??). They kept giving me the runaround so I finally called my credit card company and told them I wanted to do a reversal. My credit card company issued me a refund. After Budget Pet Care learned of this they finally sent me an envelope so I packed up their product and mailed it back to them. Now the post office has sent it back to me for insufficient postage.

This whole mess has been going on for 2 months now. I will call them today to ask for more postage to re-mail their package... WHAT A BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS THEY ARE!!!!!!! Also I filed a complaint with the Canadian better business against them and am thinking of filing a complaint with the postal service too because this is an ongoing thing they do to people and remember if you have this problem too, call your credit card company like I did... FIGHT BACK AGAINST DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICE LIKE THIS.

STEINBACH MANITOBA R5G 1 Y 2 CANADA -- Lesson learned. Always check the reviews for a company that you've never used before. I ordered Frontline Plus for my dogs and cats and got a really good price. Aren't we all trying to save money these days??? Anyway, I received Frontline Combo with a letter that explained that there was such a high demand for Frontline Plus, they sent Frontline Combo instead which is supposed to be the same thing. I haven't tried it yet, but will be really interested in the outcome. I did some investigating on the Frontline Combo for cats and realize that it is sold by Amazon 15.00 cheaper.

So, I can only say that I have been scammed. What was a very good price for the Frontline Plus was not for the Frontline Combo. Live and learn. I will write as much as I can to whoever I can because I don't want anyone else to get taken by this company. I've also learned to buy only in the USA.

For those of you who say you have not received your flea control yet, you are lucky. I purchased two 6 pks of Frontline Plus in May. It did take over two weeks to receive the order but I saw nothing out of the ordinary when it arrived. The problem began when after a few days all three dogs were scratching from flea infestation. In addition, we have found ticks on the dogs. I had never had this problem with Frontline in the past and given this was my first Budget Pet Care order I began doing research. My search led me to an About.com web page with a description of counterfeit packaging of Flea products.

The one for Frontline stated that the foil blister pack would be entirely black and white on the FDA approved US packaging but on counterfeit packages, there would be orange bars across the back of the pack. There is definitely orange bars on my packages. At least I understand why my dogs have fleas. I am out almost $90 and have little hope of getting any of it back. Not to mention I could have harmed my animals and I certainly didn't help them.

Please be aware that while I have no idea whether any of their flea products are legit, the packages I was shipped fit to a T the description of Frontline not approved by the FDA for use in the US. Just be aware if you have purchased any flea/tick control products from this company.

ON LINE -- At first I thought I had found a good site for purchasing Frontline for my dog. The price seemed good so I ordered some. What I got was a European formula that is not authorized for sale in the U.S. I also found a foreign exchange charge on my credit card statement that was never disclosed on the web site. Apparently this place is located outside the U.S. and deals in foreign goods.

They even go so far as to include a flier that claims there is a shortage of Frontline so that's why they've shipped a foreign product. Of course there's an abundance of Frontline at every other source in the country. Oh, and if I should decide I don't want the foreign product they will deduct a $5.00 service charge from my return! I called the manufacturer of Frontline and they completely disputed the claims made by Budget Pet Care as far as the availability of Frontline and they said that the foreign product was not approved for sale in the U.S. Be aware!!!

HUNTSVILLE, MISSOURI -- I have ordered from Budget Pet Care for many years. I always receive my products promptly with no problems. They also have a 3-in-one guarantee which prevents identity theft etc. I like the program flea control for my cat. It seems to work the best! I would not recommend the Frontline Plus Flea product, 3 months for under $20. It did not work on my cat and she got flea infested. I am still trying to get the fleas under control. Also, when I called to return the product, the rep said that they get the most complaints about it. Other than the above experience, Budget Pet Care has been a good company to order from!

To make a very long story short. Company is in Canada. Not the US. They probably have no consumer laws to follow as we do. I ordered Frontline plus they sent me Frontline Combo. Sent it back after calling my credit card company to report a scam. Got my $110.00 credit. I have been getting harassing emails x 1 month. I called them and got into a fight with the "brain surgeon" that answered the phone. They said they received the Frontline combo crap back but they are going to charge me $40.00 because I returned the product. I had to laugh. I told them I was going to sue them for the $12.00 it cost me to send their crap back.

I had cancelled my credit card so they can't steal the number or try charging all their crazy fees. DO NOT BUY from this company not only because they are stealing from people but their products could harm your pet!

This they said was due to a manufacturer's shortage. There was no attempt to solicit my approval for the substitution prior to their shipment. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and were willing to let me return the product. However, they would be deducting $5.00 for the original shipping charges. This was for a product I did not order!!! BEWARE! If their substitution practice is unacceptable practice is unacceptable to you, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!
