PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- Lousy customer service! I have been going to Rite Aid pharmacies for years. Numerous prescriptions were lost and could not be refilled until I got a new prescription. Just recently, I had to go to the pharmacy three times to finish the initial order. It's time for me to get another pharmacy!
The pharmacists at Rite Aid are overworked. I should know, I was one of them. This company does not care about you the consumer or it's employees. All they care about is what is in your wallet. The environment they allow their pharmacists to work is horrendous. 12+ hour days, no breaks, minimal tech and cashier assistance. No wonder some of the mistakes were made. No pharmacist can do the job properly under the conditions this company operates under.
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- I visited the Rite Aid pharmacy (in Del Mar, San Diego) to get an urgent prescription filled for my sick child (the child was in pain and the Pediatrician did not have samples of the drug). The response from the pharmacist was utterly callous -- she said, "Everyone is in pain and everyone needs the medicine immediately". She didn't want to hear me after that. It is painful to see customer service going to dogs in America. I wonder how can we, as customers, allow ourselves to be subjected to this kind of bad treatment??
MIDDLETOWN, NEW JERSEY -- Please someone tell me it isn't just me. Is this chain not the very worst in turning the simple process of having a prescription filled into a living nightmare? As if incompetence and inefficiency weren't enough, add some major ATTITUDE from the help into the mix and you are left numb from the experience.
