Stay away from Traveler's Auto Insurance. I had the worst claims adjuster ever. She was very aggressive, rude, and spent time berating me after my recorded interview concerning the accident. She announced that she was turning off the recorder, then proceeded to blast me! She was very condescending and preached to me about what I had to do to avoid the accident I had been in. How can Travelers put this kind of person on the phone to settle claims? People are upset enough when they have an accident. They don't need claims adjusters verbally attacking them.
I have been checking out complaints and reviews on them since my experience and see that I am not alone. I'll research better before choosing my next Insurance company out my next company.
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA -- This is an updated in reference to my previous post about Traveler's Insurance. Traveler's gave us a very low ball figure to replace a classic car that was totaled by their insured, We were forced to file a claim with our insurance company. Within 4 days our insurance company came back with a fair offer for the car. Unfortunately our insurance company will now have to sue Traveler's for the money as well as our deductible. They may or may not get the money back and we may be out our deductible if Traveler's refuses to pay. The insurance laws in Georgia seem to favor the Insurance companies NOT the INSURED. Traveler's has been awful to deal with from the beginning.
I would have not problem if this accident had been our fault, but it was not and we may be out $1000 just for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- Immediately after the impact of my Audi vehicle being hit from the rear, I called Travelers insurance, my carrier, and received instructions as to how to proceed to get a loaner vehicle, they arranged with 24 hours to have an adjuster come to my home to view the vehicle, and then offered suggestions of where to take the vehicle for repair; once I selected a repair center, the vehicle was picked up from my home by a flatbed truck, and repairs proceeded. Great service, constant follow up to keep me informed, thanks Travelers, I have my vehicle back in as new condition as when I first acquired the car.Add reply
CHANTILLY, VIRGINIA -- Changed insurance carrier to save money. Within a month as a new customer with Travelers Insurance, lightning fried our house generator. Thinking we would be on our own to make an "unnecessary" and costly repair, we filed a claim anyway. In 2 weeks, we were reimbursed. I have had Travelers Insurance for over 15 years without a single claim. I recently had a pipe burst with flooding and they not only refused to cover it, but canceled my insurance after they told me they were not covering it. They did not even have the decency to inform me. I found out from my bank / lien holder on the house. This is the WORST company. I strongly advise you to SWITCH if you have them.Add reply
NEW YORK -- I lost my engagement ring which I had for more than 30 years. I thought that it had fallen off in my car, as I've had that happen in the past to a bracelet. When I realized that it wasn't in my car, I was very upset, as was my husband. I called Travelers to report the loss, and was very pleased to have someone call me back almost immediately. They have provided excellent service and work very hard on my claims. They have provided men with an excellent product with a very reasonable price. NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE -- On December 22, 2013 midnight, there was a huge storm and wind. We heard alarm from house smoke detectors. We waked up and checked each room. We found leaked water from smoke detector on the second floor game room ceiling. We put a big plastic container under the smoke detector immediately and called Travelers insurance next morning. Travelers claim representative took a very quick response after we reported the weather related damage on my house and did professional way to inspect the damage on the roof and ceiling and resolved issue quickly……Add reply

My insurance claim was handled very professional and a check was given to me on the spot which I thought was very fair. I have checked various rates and Travelers was very competitive. I have been with them several years and have both my home and auto with them. Add reply
My luggage did not show up and the airline company could not find it and decided it was theft. So, the insurance company dealt with it very well to help me get close approximate. Amount that had been lost in the luggage.
The phone conversations would take few days to reach a person, besides I was satisfied with their service.
