COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Affordable Dentures in Columbus, Ohio has a very rough staff. The technician who placed my new denture in my mouth, crammed it in my mouth. The denture did not fit and the tech should have made sure the denture fit in my mouth before forcing it in. I now have a huge sore spot that has to heal before I can wear my new dentures.

The entire staff at this location needs some people skills. And they do not always provide one-day dentures. My first visit, they sent me to an oral surgeon to have some gum work done, my second visit, they didn't have my size teeth, the third visit was when they made my teeth. The trip to the oral surgeon was not necessary and was very expensive. Go somewhere else to get dentures if you can afford to.

SOUTH HILL, VIRGINIA -- One may never think of a franchise denture company to have the ability to have such a positive influence on someone's life! I want to thank all the staff and Dr. Micheal ** in the South Hill, VA location of Affordable Dentures for doing that very thing for my mother! I engaged in conversation with the front office coordinator, Deborah, weeks before the actual visit and she was a angel sent from heaven.

In this day in time, it is a pleasure to see the emphasis placed on quality patient care and kindness. I wish you all much continued success and longevity! I could not have done it without you! My mother has regained her confidence and her esteem. Your work was beautiful and very reasonable! Thanks for making her feel good about herself again!

SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA -- I've had dentures For 20+ years but this is the worst looking dentures I've ever seen. At first try I voiced my opinion and she said it will look right. When I went to get final I was told "You approved the first test and you will have to pay for a new set if you don't like these." Very rough and rude. Paid for custom set and was treated terribly. I was told it aged my face horribly and I asked dentist "Why did it look like this?" She said nothing changed in my appearance.

Please do not see anyone in the Shreveport office. I asked to speak to who I thought was a professional dentist and in control in this office but was told he's busy and he wouldn't be able override her decision it was final, was told he wouldn't do anything for me anyway.

EAST MOLINE, ILLINOIS -- I went in to get talk with the doctor about getting the denture before I had my teeth pulled and the doctor was down right rude. I have spent so much time and money on my teeth but due to genetics it was a lost cause and the doctor told me that me losing my teeth was all my fault.

The first plate they made for the immediate denture was great, no problems, looked good felt good, and I was able to eat. When they made the lower partial they didn't ask what type I wanted or anything. The tech only held down one side while it was casting so the fit came out totally wrong. I was not even able to wear it at all.

When I went back in a year later for my permanent top plate they made me wear the lower partial that didn't fit in order to do the mold for the top. Because the bottom didn't fit the final upper plate does not fit at all either. If I put the top plate in I can't close my mouth or even rub my lips together. They ended up looking like I could carve a tree with the front teeth.

The main office for Affordable dentures said I had to deal with the dentist himself. So here I was no teeth, and no money for new ones that actually fit. There has to be a way to get at least part of the money back from the no good teeth. All this has totally shot my self-esteem. I am only 34 years old and I won't leave my house because of my self-esteem.

ZANESVILLE, OHIO -- People beware, I was ripped off $700.00 by this place in Zanesville, OH. The people are rude, crude and just sociably unacceptable. I had to deal with some woman named "Cora" - wow what a winch! I made a complaint so therefore they won't take me to make me my real permanent teeth so I'm still wearing my temps and they're killing me.

I worked hard for that 700 bucks and they're going to give me my money back or I'll get a lawyer, I'll do something - file every complaint I can until I get my money back. The dentist seen when the teeth he made for me didn't fit, he took me into a back room and filed down my real teeth on bottom, basically sawing them in almost half and the dentures still didn't fit. Now you want to talk about sore bottom teeth, air, heat, cold. My gosh it's awful. This place is a joke - people beware!!!

LAKELAN, FLORIDA -- I went to Affordable Dentures in Lakeland, Florida and have been very dissatisfied with them. I had to have an upper denture made after 7 extractions. The fit has never been proper on the immediate denture and even after adjustments have never been right. I know the gums heal and change but still never had a good fit with soft or hard relines. Then I went for my final permanent denture. The first wax try-in made me look like a horse. The second one did not have a good bite. The third one had teeth sawed in a straight line across and totally unacceptable and the bite still wrong. None of them EVER had a good midline either.

I told the dentist they looked like crap. Well, he was insulted and refused to finish my permanent denture and made me go to the Tampa office. I'm a tough cookie, but this dentist was extremely rude and impatient and never took time to do things right and to my satisfaction and had me in tears several times. The trip to the Tampa office was quite a distance, but I finally have an upper denture that fits and looks good! I wrote to Affordable Dentures headquarters and nobody ever contacted me. I would never, ever recommend anyone to go to this Lakeland office!

WACO, TEXAS -- There is no such thing as one day dental service. You have two different dentists here who compare and redo what the other did wrong. So, two long trips, in the beginning. The adjustments to the dentures are another nightmare. You will meet a lady who has no idea what you're talking about and GOUGES your denture a half inch away from where you were pointing.

She needs to be a door greeter. Keep tools away from her! BEWARE! Do not let her touch your new dentures at all! This clinic is happy to get your money, and turn out the product. They expect you to be happy with it and just go away even if you have concerns. Go back and let them GOUGE your new dentures. I'm not a happy camper. Dr. ** is a good Gouger, too, as he flat topped my upper denture when it only needed to be smoothed a little.

He also said not to worry about the "dimple" on the outside of my upper denture, where SHE filed off the excess acrylic blob they left on it. How nice. It's very visible. People in business, especially this type of business, should be more caring and professional! If you get dentures here, YOU SHOULD GO ELSEWHERE FOR ADJUSTMENTS. They have no clue on how to do adjustments. Keep that in mind.

COMMERCE, GEORGIA -- I went last Friday to Affordable Dentures in Commerce, GA with my mother to have a major dental overhaul. She and I have both suffered with dental issues due to lack of dental benefits and flat out neglect. So we decided to get something done about it. We went into this situation having done our research. We knew it was an all day affair, first come first serve, and that we would be one of many having the same exact thing done. So needless to say we went in with an understanding mind... and we really didn't know exactly what to expect, but hoped for the best. We were treated with respect and dignity. The staff worked diligently to get our entire process complete.

We had x-rays, mold fitting of our mouth before extractions, MANY extractions (me - 10, my mom - 8), and dentures made same day. I really walked away from this feeling as though I was taken care of. Thankfully we have had no problem with our dentures thus far, and I feel confident that if we did, we could easily go back and be taken care of once again. I would certainly recommend that anyone in our same situation visit Affordable Dentures in Commerce, GA. We were very satisfied with our care, and our product. Good luck!

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- I've had nothing but problems with Affordable Dentures. I have had 2 sets of their dentures in 3 years. They wear out in no time making the fit constantly off. I had one tooth break off and they cracked from the middle front teeth up the center of the top. I did not drop them! The dentist was too busy and put too much goop for the impression to make me throw up. They made my teeth with the impression of my fingers trying to get the goop from running down my throat because they left immediately and I was on my own. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I was crying and no one helped until they were ready to take the mold out.

The teeth did not match up to my original bottom ones. The attendant told me to get used to it because she was inexperienced and didn't know what to do. I was told the teeth looked fine but ill fitting is not a good trade. The price is cheaper but I feel sorry for anyone going to these places. All of these stories above are similar to several of my experiences. I am so sorry for anyone who has had to lose their teeth. I would hope some day that with the technology we have that something can be done to help us all.

LAKELAND, FLORIDA -- I have been trying to contend with these dentures since Dec. 20th 2007. It all started in Lakeland, FL. I was going back constantly at least once a week and sometimes more. Then on March 3rd, they made me new ones because the old ones made me look like a horse. He admitted it and said he didn't want anyone to see those dentures and know that he had made them. They rocked and hurt like the dickens.

I couldn't keep them in no matter how much "stuff" I put in them. Then they relined them and as I understand it, with hard reliner, and I wasn't ready for the hard as I wasn't healed yet. I heard this from the office in Burlington VT. This is a 200 mile round trip (gas & meals). They made the new ones over and they are huge and again I look like a horse and they hurt. Far too tight and when I eat get even tighter. I vomit and choke and they tell me to breathe through my nose which doesn't help when I'm over the toilet vomiting.

I am going to make that 200 mile trip again on Monday and certainly not looking forward to it but I have no choice. I can't keep them in my mouth for more than an hour at a time. What can be done to correct this? Please advise and thank you.
