MALL OF LOUISIANA, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA -- I purchased a Brahmin Handbag on 10/26/13, 6 days later I tried to return it because the zipper had a defect in it. I had my receipt and tag and I was told no they couldn't take it because it was used. I have always bought my name brand handbags from Dillard's and have been a cardholder since 1989 (24 yrs.) but after this experience I don't plan to use my card again. I see customers return items being worn etc. all the time. I was told to send the handbag back myself.
I recently made my 2nd purchase at Dillard's department store online. The skirt I purchased looked nothing like the pic online. I phoned customer service today to inquire about the return policy and my initial shipping charges. I was rudely told that when the warehouse receives the item back they will decide if it's defective and then issue a full refund. The customer service rep's tone was awful. This is the second call I've made concerning a product I've purchased and, needless to say, I will never purchase anything from Dillard's again.
COLORADO -- Attention all! Dillard's will not give you credit after 30 days even with a receipt & the product was never open or used. The employees are rude and act as if they don't care one way or another. They get paid by the hour! I will never shop there again, I'm going to be sure to tell everyone I know about their return policy!
In this time of stolen identities why not list my account number on the remittance number of my statement and not on all the other copies included in the billing? Since I already have the AC # on the remittance. I do not need it again. I have the AC # in my records.
HIGH POINT, NORTH CAROLINA -- I was given many customer's copy with a website to register to win a shopping spree for $2,500, but there is no such website. This is false advertisement. Do they know what they are doing? Dillards is a upscale store and shouldn't deceive they customers. Next time when I need to shop, I will not be going to Dillard's anymore. I'm a very disappointed shopper.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- Dillard's have been holding employees against their will at store closing time for over several years in different stores. Dillard's lock their doors at night and holding employees against their will when punching off the clock. This practice is bad for the company. Mr. Dillard have no idea that his management team is holding his employees hostage. Bad practice for this company.
PT. ARTHUR AND BEAUMONT, TEXAS -- Today I made two different phone calls to two different Dillard's Department Stores in my local area. Both were to the jewelry departments were I was told I could not be helped at this time. I even had the exact name of the item and the item number to give these employees. The stores were located at Central Mall in Port Arthur and Parkdale Mall in Beaumont, Texas. I called at noontime. Very uncaring and unhelpful employees.
Loved all the nice comments. Of course I have enough sense to know that lunchtime is a busy time and I also failed to mention it wasn't the first time I called or that I work two jobs and don't have the time to go shopping at the malls or the fact that when I did call the employees were very rude. But anyways thanks for all your helpful responses. Have a great day!
