After my flight to JFK was canceled (Notified by an automated voice message) Sunday morning (DEC 26th) I spent 2 hours on hold to reschedule. I rescheduled for December the 28th (first available flight). After 12 hours waiting on a delayed flight(the rescheduled flight) it was finally canceled around 7 pm which was far too late to reschedule another flight with a different airline. Jet Blues advice to passengers left stranded? Rent a car and drive. RENT A CAR AND DRIVE!

Jet Blue said no flights were available until the 3rd of January but when I checked their website they did in fact have flights with seats available going to Newark on December the 31st. They should have said no flights available to you to transfer to but for an additional 450.00 plus fees and tax you can fly to NJ on Friday. That would have been honest. These 2 cancellations have cost me a week of work (luckily not my job altogether), an additional $900.00 in lodging and $270.00 for a ticket on Amtrak back to NY. Best part? To buy these tickets I used a credit with Jet blue from a flight that they bumped me from in October.

JetBlue! No Crew to Fly the Plane!!!
By -

Me, my wife and 3 kids. Flight 722 from Nassau to JFK. After 3 hours of announced delay they told us that they didn't have the required crew to fly the plane to JFK!!! It's like going to a restaurant and they tell you: "oh we are sorry, no cook today, he decided to stay home"!!! On top of that instead of trying to work around having an extra flight at some point we have been offered flights out of Nassau on the 4th of January!!! And needless to say that any refund was out of question! This whole thing is totally unacceptable. I fly over 10 times a month (if not more) and this was the worst experience I ever had.

Jet Blue Lost Or Stolen Luggage
By -

Arrived in Las Vegas at 11pm a few months ago and lo and behold, my suitcase could not be found. 105 degrees outside and I am here for a professional conference starting at 8am the next day. Am not even going to tell you, how my next day was shot trying to find conference clothes in the summer for an overweight woman in Las Vegas. Four months later, the luggage has not been found.

After reporting this to JetBlue, their response has been pathetic. No return calls, a offer of $1000 despite receipts of orthotic shoes - new and five days of nice conference clothes. This is what I have found out. There is no security at Las Vegas airport. No one is checking on who takes what bags. JetBlue has No Cameras on their luggage carousels at the Las Vegas airport. They don't care if your luggage is lost or stolen. There is No deterrent for thieves to steal your luggage since no one is watching. On to small claims court.

Try to Go to Website and Free Tickets Are Offered
By -

This is the biggest scam - to get onto your website there is an offer for two free tickets. Follow it through and it says near the end "For the two free tickets choose two of the companies below" - I did that, hit enter then it says "You have to now pick 9 offers." What a scam. I gave these companies all my - there was no other way to get to their website. I am sure all of the companies listed pays JetBlue and then the customer gets nothing but the runaround. My family, friends and I will not travel JetBlue anymore.

Who needs this? Other airlines you go on their website and connect and purchase tickets...none of this prying information from people. I thought JetBlue was in the business of transportation not collecting information to sell to other companies.

Changing Spelling of Names Booked Reservations
By -

We booked a reservation with Hotwire to flight with JetBlue. We misspelled a few letters of the first name. We called JetBlue and they said to call Hotwire to have that problem fixed. We called Hotwire and they said to call JetBlue as they do not have access to the JetBlue main frame system to make those changes. We called JetBlue again and they said there is nothing they can do other than to put the notes on the system and "Take the Challenge" the day of departing to see if they allow me to flight out of my destination.

This is Ridiculous! I've left a message to the Administration of Customer Support at the JetBlue's Corporate office to see what they think. Seems to me, NO one has a protocol to fix this type of issues. Am I the only person who's have had this type of problems? What a waste of money, time and efforts. No more bookings on Hotwire and/or JetBlue.

Jet Blue= Poor customer service
By -

I have had the worst customer experience ever. I made a reservation and tried to cancel it 1 hour after I made it. They would only give me a credit. OK, I understand that I agreed to the terms and conditions, but the supervisor I was transferred to was an unsympathetic robot. She chastised me for not reading the terms and conditions. I felt belittled.

In marketing they say it's 7 times harder to get a new customer then retain a current one. Well, they lost this one. Jet Blue: Hire supervisors with at least sympathetic personality traits, so they can make a customer that just made a $440.00 mistake feel OK about it. How about a 24 hour full refund policy? After 24 hours then go to a credit policy. I would have even paid $50 for a refund.

No Security in Baggage Claim
By -

LAGUARDIA AIRPORT, NEW YORK -- We came off a relatively smooth flight from Orlando tonight into LaGuardia on JetBlue. When we went to retrieve our luggage in baggage claim another passenger told us that our bag and another passenger's bag were taken by someone that walked into the area from the street and walked out with our bags. There is no security in the area not even porters that could have at least questioned the thief's motive and maybe stopped him from the theft. If you fly into LaGuardia and have checked bags, run to baggage claim and be there before the bags come out so you don't have the same experience we have had.

True Blue or No True Blue
By -

I recently used my TrueBlue points to book a flight from JFK to SFO. But because of the holiday changes, I had to reschedule to an unknown date. I don't mind paying a 1x 100$ for a future unknown date, but I have to pay 2x 100$ - that is ridiculous!!! I feel I am being penalized to flying JetBlue. This is not a way to compete in today's market - SORRY!

Be Careful Booking Flights Till You Find Your Seat.
By -

I recently booked a flight with JetBlue. After paying for the seat, I was given the option of choosing my seat. I had a 2-hr commute to the airport and knew time was limited. Unlike USAirways and other airlines, JetBlue does not show you seat availability. Now it comes time to get my seat, and I find out that the only available seat carries a surcharge. That means I could not get a boarding pass and had to get to the airport earlier (an impossibility) to get a seat assignment.

I paid the charge and politely contacted JetBlue and explained the situation. They politely advised me that the charge was enforced. I was furious, and will think twice before booking JetBlue. The couple next to me had the same experience as this was a short flight and nobody would pay extra for this. Total ripoff from an otherwise good company that should be ashamed of themselves.

Jet Blue Ticket Cancellation
By -

I had flight almost every week for the last 4 years from Bay Area to Orange County, using many of the airlines available. Today, JetBlue wanted to charge me $50.00 to cancel a $49.00 ticket I made by mistake. The ticket was bought just a few hours before I realized the error. In another 2 occasions from the past, Southwest Airline and American Airline had allowed me to change without a charge when I called right after the tickets were purchased. Too bad, Jet Blue had lost another customer! I wanted to write a complaint on their website; coincidentally, the site is not available for complaint, only for compliment.
