EUGENE, OREGON -- Every other month, we have a schedule with Terminix for a general treatment of the exterior. We're also using their mosquito treatment every month during mosquito season. That worked very well because when we got here for the summer, we were being swarmed and now there are none. I'm quite satisfied. I'm happy that there are no pests in the house and no mosquitoes in the yard, and I never open the cupboard in the kitchen and find ants over everything.

My experience with Terminix is a very detached one. They leave me a voicemail, they show up. I only see the truck sometimes, and then the bill comes through. The auto-payment takes care of the payment each month, so I'm not spending any time on this, which is fine. Overall, my experience has been seamless and their service works exactly as advertised.

DENVER, COLORADO -- I like Terminix's services but I don't have to pay too much attention to them, which is my favorite. We had a wasp hive attached to the side of our house that we hadn't noticed. They weren't supposed to take care of it because we hadn't noticed a problem yet but they went ahead and took care of it for us. That was super good.

Also, we had a bunch of boxes in the garage from moving in and when we recently cleaned it out, I noticed some spider activity. I made a mental note that I need to ask Terminix to do a spider treatment near the garage door. It has always been great with Terminix.

DENVER, COLORADO -- We have a mosquito control service every month and a quarterly service on our regular contract with Terminix. Our Terminix man, Patrick, is wonderful. He does our mosquito service and regular contract. He's very good about remembering to sweep off the ceilings and the porch. He is very knowledgeable. We are out in the country and see some unusual stuff, and if I ask him a question, he's very good. We absolutely love him. He was gone for a while with a cancer diagnosis but came back and while he was gone, we didn't get the service we usually get.

We're thrilled that he's back. The other guys weren't bad, they just weren't as thorough as Patrick. Patrick does it as quickly as they do but better. We have country property and friends come over, and he'll tell me if he knows where the nearest rattlesnakes are, which is really helpful. He tells us what bugs are really bad and what's not and we really appreciate that. It's not an inexpensive service, so to have the knowledge base and kinds of service is wonderful.

Our experience has been awesome. We'd recommend Patrick to anybody. He's coming today for the mosquitoes if it doesn't rain. Also, we have too many earwigs which are everywhere. I made a bowl of cereal last night, left the bowl sitting in the sink and there was a dead earwig in it this morning. So, it's time to spray again.

LARGO, MARYLAND -- This is my first time dealing with Terminix, and I had a good experience setting up appointments and getting them to come out. The technicians they sent were great, professional, and very courteous. They were in and out, and talked us through what they were doing. They let us know that they could come back if I needed them to. I had a rodent infestation here, and after the guys from Terminix came in, I saw the difference in less than a week. The rodents were gone. My experience has been great. The only thing is that I have sent out the paper for them to go to my account and take a hundred and something every month for my bill, and they haven't done it.

GAITHERSBURG, MARYLAND -- Terminix recently came out for a squirrel in the house. They put some traps out but the traps didn't catch it - the squirrel died in the walls. They couldn't find it but I was able to locate it and pulled it down to where it was exposed and they came and got the carcass.

I had to schedule the service through the universal scheduling wherein they contact the local branch. The local branch seems really good. I needed them to come right away and get the dead animal and they came the next day and grabbed it. They were pretty responsive.

The people that came to the house were great. They were courteous, professional and really good. My experience has been good, but if I could do it all over again, I probably wouldn't have gone with the pest service for the year. It was expensive for what they did. They just laid out a few cents' worth of traps, which didn't catch anything and I ended up spending $800 for the service.

GAITHERSBURG, MARYLAND -- I'm satisfied with Terminix. I had them come and do a service to take care of ants. We had ants all over the place and I can't see them now, so it has worked. I also have a termite problem and asked the representative about it and he said that a different person would address that. I felt that I got good quality service and advice. The man impressed me with his sincerity.

We used Terminix a couple of years ago, but stopped because we felt it wasn't necessary. We had this one-time service this year and want to continue it. If money wasn't an issue, I would have called some time ago to have it done. I like the service and their professionalism. However, I'm wondering if I can get a better price than what they quoted me. I want the job done right but I can't afford it right now so I'm trying to figure out how I can pay for it and I'll call them back.

WATERBURY, CONNECTICUT -- Terminix has only been out two times. The technician came for an initial overview of the home and took care of some bees that we had and then came back another time to make sure that the bees were gone. He was very nice and very educated in regards to what he was doing. My initial call was for some black ants which are now gone, so that's good. And we also don't have bees anymore because they got rid of that.

We scheduled our service over the phone with the main number and then the actual person who will be coming out called the night before. There's a discrepancy, though, between calling the main number and getting scheduled. And then there's an issue on the laws in Connecticut in regards to what can be treated. I called the main number another time because I saw a couple of hornets in my house, and I scheduled someone to come, but then what happened was the local guy calls and says, “Connecticut is different than the rest of the country where you have to actually see a nest in order for them to come out,” so we cancelled the appointment.

It works differently, and these guys have been trying to tell the main number that. I haven't seen any more hornets, though. The guy said, "I can tell you it's probably coming from here due to this reason. If you see a lot more bees, please call us and then we'll see what we can do about it.” That's something that Terminix needs to work on - knowing the local laws when people are calling the main number. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with my experience.

WATERBURY, CONNECTICUT -- Shaun from Terminix came today and did great service. He called ahead of time, which I appreciate. They usually send me a text to schedule their visit so I know what's going on and I can call the office to ask them to call me a half hour before arriving. That gives me lead time to get home and meet them which is what Shaun did. He seemed very knowledgeable about the products that they have and was very thorough and courteous. He didn't find any termites which is a good thing and I hope I continue to pay and they continue to find nothing.

OWINGS MILLS, MARYLAND -- I have been with Terminix for almost 14 years. In the early part of 2000, there was a termite and they took care of it. I had an in ground injection of a chemical that seemed to have worked and so far so good. Terminix came a month and a half ago for their annual visit. Something popped up outside the house and the technician checked it and said it was an insect, not termite. So I was happy that it was not termite. He was thorough, polite and knows what he's doing, so I can't complain.

I would recommend them but they have to be careful. It was in the newspaper that one guy who was a subcontractor of Terminix sprayed a house for insects, and when the kid who doesn't know it was sprayed came home, his nervous system got affected by the treatment. They were suing Terminix, though Terminix said it was the contractor's fault.

Nevertheless, as far as their service has been for years, they're fine, and I'm happy with them. But we are aware what's going on so when they will come again and check us I have to be careful because my grandson comes here off and on.

DENVER, COLORADO -- Terminix is well-known throughout the country, so I went with them. When I scheduled my service, one of their lead guys came out, we talked and I liked what he had to say. One of their techs did most of the work. Then I was advised to move furniture and clean corners, so that the spray doesn't get soaked up in the dust and not kill the termites. We moved out everything and made sure that everything was spic and span. I had five sets of bedding, and I threw them all out. Now we just have one king-sized bed and four empty other bedrooms.
