CHINA -- Bought 2 wigs (one was 52.00, the other 150.00). The 52.00 wig rocked. Beautiful. The other wig color did not look right in person - too gold and "wiggy looking" for my taste. I promptly repackaged and got ready to ship back for refund. I called: mailbox full. I emailed: 2 days before I heard from anyone (they said product must be mailed back within 7 days of receiving item so I wanted to get on it). "Ruby" a fake American name for some Asian, no doubt, told me to put the wig on and send photos. I was like, "You're going to tell me whether or not the wig looks good?" This went back and forth on day 3.

Day 4 - haven't heard from anyone. Day 5 is today and I'm pissed. It's dicey picking out wigs from a photo. I suggest trying them on in a store, then, if you can get the wig # (they won't give it out to you, that's why they charge 500!!!). Then try to order it online.

TEXAS -- I ordered a dark brown wig and they sent me a jet black wig. They spent several days trying to negotiate with me, sighting their return policy. I told them that their return policy is for the dissatisfaction with the product I ordered but they did not send me what I ordered. Their latest offer was for me to ship the wig back at my expense before refunding my money. They did not say they would refund fully when I returned the wig but did not say they would refund the postage to send it back. I started a dispute with PayPal. That's the only chance you are going to get all of your money back. If they want the wig back, insist that they send you a prepaid label and an email stating that you will get a full refund. If anyone gets scammed by these people, be sure to dispute it with your credit card company.They don't send you what you ordered and then they don't want to take responsibility for their error. The reason the wigs cost so much is because you are paying for express shipping. It took only 5 days for it arrive after it shipping. Quality of the wig...questionable. Only order from companies located in the US where satisfaction is guaranteed. If there is a drop down on the home page for a choice of currency, odds are the company is out the country.

CHINA -- I paid them $157.00 through PayPal. After 90 days they sent me a golden blonde wig, which in no way resembled the wig I ordered. I ordered a dark brown bob. I am a black woman and I do not wear blonde hair. I contacted them several times by email questioning why order was taking so long (site says 7 - 15 days). After requesting refund, I got a reply stating item was on the way. 10 days later I got a blonde wig. After emailing and calling them, all I got was take a picture and send it to them. Ha!! I am going to request that PayPal stop processing payments for them. Join me please. This site needs to be shut down.

I myself did read reviews but all say best wigs ever. Now I see they aren't real post. I spent $140 on 3 wigs. Didn't realize they were coming from China. Got them and they just wasn't like the pics. They really look cheap. After several emails they finally sent me a return address but was asking for all this extra stuff to do when sending them back. I refused $50 dollars and 10% off my next order with them. But I'm going to see if I can complain on the BBB site. I never wore them and took pictures that they weren't altered in anyway. I paid to have them returned although they kept talking about shipping etc.

My Experience With Returning a Wig

I purchased a wig from Wigsbuy.com last month. I wanted the color combination shown on the model but it was not listed as a color choice to choose from. So I wrote a message in my order form clearly stating the color combination I wanted. When the wig arrived, and that took almost a month, it was the wrong color. After several unsuccessful attempts, I was finally able to contact someone in their returns department. I paid $212 for this wig. They tried to give me $75! I refused this and after several messages back and forth, the best they would do is $144. I had to return the wig, which cost me $25, and lose $68.

When I asked them if they could just send me the wig in the color combination they advertised, she said they don't even have that wig available! How can a company advertise something they don't have and then penalize me for trying to purchase it? I have never taken the time to write a complaint about anything I've purchased-and I shop online a lot. Frankly, I don't have the time. But I feel the need to warn potential buyers about this company. Please do not purchase from them and expect fair treatment if you wish to return an item.

We spent approximately $213 on a wig from Wigsbuy. This wig was for my 22-year old daughter with cancer and is presently taking chemo. We received the wig and in our opinion, it wasn't even close to what was advertised! Not even the color. My daughter contacted them requesting a return/refund before the 7-day time limit they impose, and they responded by saying: "Please take a picture of the wig with it on, and send it to us. My daughter did as instructed. They then told her to have it style and use hair spray.

At this point she refused. Looking at their refund policies they state that if the wig has been worn, styled, or sprayed with hair spray they will not accept returns!!! They instructed her do those things that would disqualify her!! The return policy says that we would pay for the return and after they receive the wig they would CONSIDER GIVING THE CUSTOMER A REFUND!!

Notice the word "consider"? And they would only refund up to 60% of what the buyer paid! Really?? My daughter has cancer and does NOT need the stress of this deceptive company. PLEASE HELP SUPPORT MY DAUGHTERS FIGHT AGAINST CANCER, BY NOT BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY. Thank you.

I have no idea why people are complaining so much about Wigsbuy. Honestly, they are not that bad. Even they are very good with their products. Yes, their customer service is not that much good which they should improve but it wasn't very hard for me though and it is my first experience with Wigsbuy. Their quality is best at the moment. Obviously, people have different opinions but my experience with Wigsbuy was really good and I'm going use their service for a long time. I wanted to rate 5/5 if it wasn't about the customer service. But I love their products.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I purchased my wig in towards the middle of January (1/19/16- to be exact), two weeks later, I still hadn't received any tracking or shipping information. I contacted the company and they said the wig needed to pass "quality inspection." I'm not sure why a wig would need to pass inspection, it's not a car. At this point, I'm annoyed; I no longer want to go through the hassle and I want a full refund. There's no reason why it should take this long for a synthetic wig to leave their warehouse and be delivered. I e-mailed their customer service team (of course the number wasn't legitimate), and expressed to them my frustrations. Initially, they wanted to charge me a restocking fee, but let me reiterate, the wig never left their warehouse and had not been delivered to me, therefore, it didn't need to be restocked. The company finally obliged to waive the free, which made me have some type of hope that the company was reputable but of course not, I NEVER received my refund!!!!! They e-mailed me on Feb 15th, saying they would credit my account for the wig but it is now the 8th of March and I haven't received anything.

Horrible Wig Experience

I made a big mistake by not looking at online reviews or else I would never have ordered from Wigsbuy. The wig took a very long time to arrive, which would have been excusable if the wig was as advertised. Instead it was not human hair -- verified by my hair stylist. The quality was awful. The color is horrible. The cut is terrible. This wig looks nothing like what was advertised. I have never had to write a bad review about anything until now. Do not buy anything from them unless you like to lose your money. They offered me $15 back on a $191 wig and told me to use hairspray. I am so disappointed.

CHINA -- Avoid this site like the plague. Firstly, I paid for express shipping and opened a dialog immediately as I needed the wig for work. They ignored me until I repeatedly chased them up and eventually issued a refund after constant emails as the wig was received three weeks after its expected date.

More annoyingly, the pictured wig is not what I received. I knew the pictures of people were false but the wigs are not the wigs they feature upon the order page. I paid for a full lace front and instead got a shoddily tied two by six inch square of lace at the top front of the head. The sides were wefts (exactly what I did not want) and so thin that it by no means could pass as believable.

Throughout every instance they eventually email back, ignoring your concern and respond with "you understand". They also denied me the ability to dispute my order. So much for customer satisfaction being at the forefront of their concern. Do yourself a favor and paint your head with glue then roll around a dusty floor. I guarantee the product would be better than anything you could order from here.
