15OO OCEAN AVE BRICK AVE, NEW JERSEY -- The Dunkin Donuts employees at this location are like family. It is so good to go there with their great warm attitudes and caring. Wife and I have more or less adopted them all as our second family. They are to be highly commended for their representation of Dunkin Donuts. We are so pleased.
NEW HAMPSHIRE -- DD offers a loyalty program under "DD Perks" allowing you discounts on gasoline when using your DD card and reaching a certain purchase level. The price per gallon is supposed to "roll back" when you use your loyalty card at Irving Oil. IT DOES NOT! Despite repeated calls to Customer Service and the same excuse that "it should work" it does not. The clerks at the gas stations don't even know what the program is! They have never heard of it. I am terribly disappointed in such a major name as DD aligning themselves with such a terrible program.
VERNON, NEW JERSEY -- Dunkin' Donuts in Vernon, NJ is the absolute worst DD I have ever given my money to. The service is consistently bad. I mean REALLY bad! The manager always has some excuse; they're shorthanded, very busy, new employee in training, etc. They also never seem to make enough of certain items and run out of them early in the day, especially on weekends. Stay away from this DD!
I ordered a Dunkin Donuts gift card online on 11/28. I was sent an email stating that it was mailed out on 12/08. My credit card was charged on 12/03. This is 12/25 and I still haven't received my card. I've tried contacting the company through emails and the 1-800# and haven't received any response. They refuse to answer any of my calls.
I FINALLY REACHED CARDWAY THE COMPANY THAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PERSONALIZED D&D CARDS.I WAS ENSURED THAT MY CREDIT CARD WOULD BE CREDITED AND THAT MY MOTHER WOULD BE SENT ANOTHER GIFT CARD.THIS COMLAINT ENDED IN A POSITIVE REACTION.
SANTIAGO,CHILE -- We are a group of 300 families living in Chile, South America, thrilled to have Dunkin Donuts. Unfortunately they advertise opening at 7:30 am, which they do, however, their donuts, and some of their coffee isn't ready till around 9 am. When I wrote the manager to complain he said the materials don't get there till 7:00 and it takes time to prepare. Then, they shouldn't open at 7:30 should they??? It turns out that this is standard policy for all the Dunkin Donuts in Santiago. I would like to take this to a higher level.
NEW JERSEY -- All the time, the medium #5 that is a sandwich omelet with coffee is $4.04. Then a/o 10/8/07 (Columbus Day) it went to $4.99. And this Sunday, it went to $5.25. How could you raise these prices within a short space of time? Before you know it, it will be just like McDs or Burger King. If that is the case, I'll stop buying Dunkin Donuts. Robbers! And customer service is still very cavalier!
WALTHAM, MASSACHUSETTS -- I just visited the Dunkin' Donuts shop at 75 Third Ave, Waltham, Mass. to get a cup of coffee very early Sunday morning. When I tried to tip the woman server, she told me not to bother tipping her because she said, "All the tips go right to the owner". I find this practice offensive and wonder if it is illegal? I hope this type of practice is not widespread, and only an isolated incident of one despicable franchise owner. The people behind the counter work hard and should be able to keep the tips they earn for good service!
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- I received an email response this evening at about 9:50 PM from Jon Luther, CEO of Dunkin Brands, and he has contacted the appropriate people in his company about the issues in Chicago - regarding the napkins. He is looking into some of the other complaints and issues presented in the reviews about Dunkin Donuts.
I can assure you he cares, he is responding, and changes for the better will be coming in the foreseeable future. Thanks for sharing your complaints and comments!
