The television when turned on takes too long to come on. This TV is too new to have this problem. My got this set for me. I believe this may be a condition in the high voltage section of the set. If so how can I correct this problem. Thank you.
Samsung LN22B460 LCD TV - Purchased new 1.5 years ago, has been returned to the factory 3 TIMES when the unit failed to turn on. Samsung extended the warranty through 11/2010, now failed again. We will need to buy a new set. Terrible quality, terrible customer service. There are complaints all over the net about early failures. The set just does not turn on. Bad capacitors are implicated.
Our 3-year-old Samsung LED TV slowly began to fade. I saw all the horror stories about Samsung service and cringed. I called Samsung, and they were very nice, agreed to send out a repairman. It took about a week, but they came in a Samsung truck, replaced the circuit board in about 20 minutes, and the TV is a good as new. Wow! Instead of having to prepare for a fight, I am now a most satisfied customer and will spread the word. Thanks for taking care of this customer!
UNKNOWN, MARYLAND -- I bought a Samsung T.V. 42" LCD, spent good money, after about 2 yrs. the TV started a take longer to come on, was taking up to one hour until it no longer powered up. Check the internet and found out the power unit has been defective for years. Samsung has known about it but continues to use the power unit. Cost me 300.00 to fix. Reading on other sites can cost more. Beware do not buy Samsung. The company should go under. They are like B. P., know there is a problem but cut corners.
I bought this 32" TV 16 months ago for $678. The power board, I am told, is now bad and repair will be around $300. This is not a good ad for Samsung and from what I have read this week, it is not at all uncommon for this set. I feel it speaks poorly for Samsung since the TV was as expensive as it was. I do not like feeling forced to purchase extended warranties to feel secure in my purchase. And this seems to be the suggestion from all repair services I have spoken with.
I received a Samsung 50 inch plasma from one of the companies I represent as a prize; I have had it for 9 months. While watching it the picture went dark and a loud pop and noise continued; rushed to shut it off and the top left-hand corner has a large crack coming from the inside of set. TV is ruined. Has anyone had any luck getting Samsung to replace? I don't even have a receipt but I know the name of company that shipped it to me.
MENASHA, WISCONSIN -- 50" plasma dead on 6/25/08. No picture, no sound. NO service. Still waiting. 8/14/08 - Parts have been in stock since 6/27/08 still no repair. If this good customer relations. This company is on the bottom. No more Samsung products.
ORANGE, TEXAS -- Purchased plasma HDTV by Samsung 07/07. TV went out 07/08. Warranty department gave me the runaround for a week. I strongly advise anyone to not buy Samsung products, they are garbage. They make promises they do not keep. They are not consumer friendly. As long as I live we will never purchase anything made by Samsung.
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- I purchased a Dynaflat HDTV two years ago and guess what it no longer works! I called the service center only to hear we can provide you with the nearest authorized repair shop. One thousand dollars for two years of use what a joke. Never again will I purchase anything with the name Samsung! Especially at the cost of $500.00 a year for the use. Samsung is junk.
