I just saw on television a K-Mart ad reporting they're going to be open on Thanksgiving. They can't seem to wait for Black Friday, like other stores are doing. I will NOT do my Christmas shopping at any K-Mart store. And I will discourage my friends and family from shopping there. May their employees have a blessed Thanksgiving, even though they're going to have to work that day!

Was just at Kmart. Cashier was not very friendly and proceeded to text on her phone while I was paying.

MT VERNON, OHIO -- I was shopping in the Mt Vernon Ohio store. The checkout lines were busy of course. I went to the service desk where a very nice lady helped me purchase my items. Her name was Betty. She is a great asset to your store. But a manager came to desk and started to reprimand her in front of me. It was very inappropriate. And quite embarrassing for the employee. The woman's name was Debra from what I was told.

NEW YORK -- As an employee of Kmart, I would like to express to the general public that we as employees are not responsible for the condition of certain products sold... For example: I had a customer come in and yell at me because he had 2 malfunctioning sets of Christmas lights, and why doesn't Kmart check each set of lights before selling them? Yes we as a company expect the quality of our products to be perfect, but some things are just unavoidable... Please remember this the next time you are yelling at the associate for something out of their control.

Hi, I was sitting watching TV with my young son when your Christmas commercial came on. I am referring to the one that shows children opening presents from Santa. The husband asks his wife how much did this cost and she replies "don't worry I got it all at KMART." My son turned to me and said "I guess they are saying there isn't a Santa Claus." I was very upset about this. I think advertisers should be more aware of who can hear these advertisements.

KEY WEST, FLORIDA -- While my wife waited in the customer service line the older bow legged lady who did not wait on my wife was rude to the workers and down right unsat. I have been in business for 35 years and never have witnessed that kind attitude. Please do not hire individuals who act in such a sorry manner. It ruined my day out. Sunday 25 May 2008. Hateful people have no business working for a good company like Kmart. The young man who waited on me was very polite and respectful. The battle Axe needs to be fired and soon.

LARGO, FLORIDA -- Do not apply on-line for KMart. They will ask you for a date and time that you are available for an interview. They will confirm it online and tell you to go to the Customer Service desk of a specified store. They will give you a phone number to call if there is a difficulty. When you call the number they will say that KMart is laying people off not hiring. This review was given to help people not waste their time like I did.

PENNSYLVANIA -- I quit getting rain checks at Kmart, because they would never contact you, like they are supposed to, when the item comes in. You would go in a couple weeks later and the item would be on the shelf. I am hoping they have improved, but they used to be so bad in some areas, that the joke about them, in some areas, was that the ad that they put out, was a list of stuff they wouldn't have for that week.

EASTPOINTE, MICHIGAN -- White customers are not welcome in this location; as demonstrated by the cashiers and some employees. This perception is shared by nearly everyone that I have asked about it (white and black). You would expect that in the year 2007, we would all be past this crap.

WATERBURY, CONNECTICUT -- I was in kmart, waiting for 45 minutes for a service rep to help me out, and nobody showed up. I will never shop at that store again. There was no one at any of the counters.
