HILLSBORO, TEXAS -- Starbucks in Hillsboro, TX on Labor Day. Service was slow and unfriendly. Restrooms were not clean and floors in main room were dirty.

CHICO, CALIFORNIA -- I have gone into the Starbucks on Esplanade at least 6 times in a row when there was no dark roast coffee made and no half and half on the bar. Today took the cake. There must have been half a dozen girls behind the counter and still no dark roast coffee.

NY, RHODE ISLAND -- I recently went to Starbucks on the corner of 7th and 55th in NYC and the people at the counter had no idea what I was talking about when I requested fair trade coffee. It seems that Starbucks promotes itself as a socially responsible company, but when it comes down to it, you are not following through with your commitments. Why not step up the effort to promote fair trade coffee and educate your consumers about this problem? You certainly charge enough money to justify buying only fair trade products.
