CROFTON-GAMBRILLS, MARYLAND -- As far as I'm concerned, "Dunkin donuts" is manned and run by idiots [at least at the customer level]. I went to the one in Crofton, MD, on the corner of Rt 450 & 424, this past Sat. morning. A young kid took my order for 4 donuts. Next, some other guy [Indian or Pakistani - I mention this because he seemed to need an interpreter] comes along and asks me to get six donuts. I asked if it was cheaper and why would I want more than what I wanted. Then a heavyset lady came by to try to "interpret" what the OWNER was saying and asked me what I wanted. I was also surprised that an owner would interfere with the workers and customers for no reason.

I told her I already gave my order to the first person and didn't see why I had to give my order to three [3] people, who by the way were all standing there together. The OWNER-guy did try to push or chase away the person I gave my order to, probably realizing what a jerk he was being.

Then the OWNER and his thug-like sidekick insisted I give them my order. I told them they were jerks and I already gave my order. Then asked how many people & times do I have to give my order? They just got nastier and more vindictive until they told me to leave. The good news!! At least I didn't give these ** any money and didn't eat their "donuts" [i.e. doughnuts]! But, I did have some very good homemade chocolate chip cookies. Thanks for listening.

Terrible Customer Service

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK -- On Tuesday evening I went in to the Dunkin' Donuts at Britton Road/Dewey Avenue. There were only one other person who was also complaining about an order and then myself. I have never had anyone walk away from finishing up an order - turned to the other employee and say "finish her order" in an unprofessional manner, little did I know when asked to speak to a manager that she was a manager - now I had seen it all!!

How in the world did she get a title as a manager. I had asked the other employee who in return finished my order "does she have a problem with me" and she replied she was supposed to take her break. Well I thought could you at least finished my order completely and then taken your break - I understand that you should have taken a break - but to leave me there and to have an attitude towards me, I just think that that was uncalled for!!!

I had asked to speak to who is her boss. They gave me a name but when I arrived home, I had called the Dunkin Donuts Headquarters. I have always bought my coffee and donuts at Dunkin Donuts as well as my family & friends, but for now on I will be going to Tim Hortons.

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- Today at 10:20 am I went into the Dunkin Donuts on Summer St in downtown Boston. I was the only person in there and there were 4 employees standing there talking to each other ignoring me. Finally one girl came over and took my order. I ordered an egg and cheese and a tea. The girl who took my order told her coworker to make the egg and cheese while she got my tea.

The other girl walked over to the toaster station and I assumed she was making my sandwich. After standing there for 5 min I looked over to see what she was doing and I saw that she had just finished drawing pictures on one of the sanitary gloves. She then proceeded to blow it up and walk back over to her coworkers to show them her handiwork. I ended up just paying for my tea and leaving.

Dunkin Thermos Refills
By -

BOSTON AREA, MASSACHUSETTS -- Purchased a Dunkin Donuts thermos several months ago. At the time of purchase I was told that refills were the cost of an x-large coffee. Not a bad deal. Recently I was charged a higher price and when I inquired as to why the employee suddenly had a stupidity or a language problem and called the manager who explained that there is a refill price on the POS and that was the correct price. OK still not a bad deal.

Yesterday at another DD the employee makes up a new price by pouring in an x-large and a small combining the price of each. Again when inquiring why the high price, there is a language problem. I don't need a hassle all I want is a cup of coffee. English is my language and America is my culture, fortunately there are other places to buy a good cup or thermos of coffee.

They Think You Are an Idiot

NEWNAN, GEORGIA -- I have recently moved to GA, from MA, and I found a DD near my home. I have had ongoing negative experiences with this place. One time I asked for a medium iced coffee. I was very surprised when they gave me this cup with dirty water. I then tasted and there was a very light taste of coffee there.

So I asked if they could make it again and followed the process. They filled the cup with ice and poured hot coffee, by the time they give it to the customer, it's completely watered down. I bought donuts twice and they were old. Today was the last one. I went to their drive through and was standing, waiting for my MD hot hazelnut with cream. I saw this kid pouring coffee from the hazelnut pot, but it was not enough, so he poured more than half of the cup from the French vanilla one. I knew that it would taste like French vanilla/hazelnut?? I don't even know. I just wanted to let them know that I am not stupid. I will never go back.

The Cups ALWAYS Leak

CITY ISLAND, NEW YORK -- The cups ALWAYS leak. Very annoying when it becomes a puddle in your cup holder or drips while you're walking around the house. They haven't and probably never will do a thing to fix it… Maybe a class action lawsuit will get their attention. Otherwise that's the tip of the iceberg with the city island location. English speaking workers would be nice too so the orders aren't always messed up and you don't have to constantly repeat yourself.

114 WHITWELL ST QUINCY, MASSACHUSETTS -- The company asks for a review and gives you a free doughnut for that service. The company now will give you the doughnut but not senior citizen discount, it is one or the other.

WOLCOTT, CONNECTICUT -- We were charged double. They asked if we wanted a receipt, which they should give to us without asking. I am very upset because I am always there buying my coffee. Something needs to be done.

Horrible Incompetent Service

VALLEY STREAM, NEW YORK -- There is a Dunkin Donuts on Merrick road. It is located near King Kullen. The service is disgraceful. I went in to order breakfast. They got my order wrong. I had to explain what I wanted for at least 5 minutes. They still got the order wrong. Had a nasty attitude and didn't give me a receipt. Not only me, they were making mistakes on every order. They were mumbling insults about customers so they could be heard. They gave someone the wrong change back. Everyone online was shaking their head in disbelief!!!
