This product had problems from the day we received it. The agitator in the washer twists and pulls clothing causing damage. The worst is, the dryer which makes loud horrible squealing noises. I do believe this is a poorly made product that is far below industry standards. As a realtor selling condos I would never advise customers to purchase Frigidaire products.
Dryer failed the day before the warranty expired and they refused to warranty dryer. They say that because I was unable to reach them the night it failed the warranty is expired although the dryer was in warranty when it broke. I am of the opinion that the dryer was in warranty when it broke therefore they should repair it. This tell just how well they honor their warranty and I will never purchase another Frigidaire Product.
I bought a Frigidaire washer and dryer 2 years ago the dryer caught fire ruined my floor I had to repaint and install a new floor. I sent my claim to Frigidaire. They said since I did not keep the burnt clothes after 3 months that my claim was denied. I would not recommend Frigidaire to my worst enemy. Horrible company - their products and customer service! Beware it could cost you your life!
CHARLESTON, WEST VIRGINIA -- I bought a new dryer and front load washer in Oct. 08. The washer is good but the dryer really SUCKS!!! It is the worst dryer I have ever owned. All the clothes come out wrinkled in which we have to iron. Will never go with Frigidaire again.

ENCINITAS, CALIFORNIA -- I am writing to express my disappointment in the Frigidaire dryer we bought. We bought a Frigidaire Dryer Model number FGR341AC on November 9, 2003. We obtained a 10 year warranty on it. We were given the option and chose to pick up and install the dryer ourselves. THE DAY we bought it and installed it, it did not work. Efforts to return the dryer were refused! I had never heard of not being able to return an unsatisfactory product. I did not have faith in a product that did not work out of the box. We were told by Frigidaire and the company we bought it from (Appliances Direct) and the warehouse we picked it up from in San Diego that they will not take it back.
After much hassle from Appliances Direct who refused to rush the igniter we needed, 10 days later the igniter was received from a place less than 20 miles away. That was the first repair. On June 8, 2003, less than 7 months later, the main motor needed replacing... three months after that the belt broke. The knob broke last October and needed replacing. It was when the knob broke that I found out the 10 year warranty we got was a warranty from the store, NOT Frigidaire. The store is out of business, of course, making our warranty now useless.
Since then the belt broke twice more. Every time I call the last repair company, I'm told they don't do Frigidaire repairs requiring me to find a new repair place. With this last needed repair, the prior company again did not do Frigidaire repairs or carry the belt for it. It took me a while to find a store that did sell and have on hand a belt. I had to drive 2 towns over to get it. Also the dryer is supposed to hold a super-size load to match the washer we bought but I can't use this feature because it just doesn't work.
To summarize, in 2 years and one month I've had a new igniter, main motor, knobs and 2 belts. The belt broke for the third time 6 months later. With this last belt needed, we bought a new dryer.
MT. PLEASANT, MICHIGAN -- I purchased a paired washer & dryer. Stackable front loading. The washer from day one did not dispense either the bleach or the fabric softener. Multiple visits by service companies and 2 years later I still have a washer that takes 45 minutes per load to run and I must hand mix water with the softener and bleach and add them through the soap dispenser myself. Now the dryer needs a new igniter already. I paid a lot of money to become more inefficient.
