Sears.com - The Worst Experience I Have Ever Had With a Purchase
OHIO -- I purchased a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. I paid for the home delivery. They called the day before with a delivery time of 8am to 10am (on Thursday) I called them back to tell them I am not home during those hours I need an afternoon delivery. They said I would need to reschedule for Friday because they couldn't just change the hours. So they call me Thursday evening with a delivery time of 9am-11am. Again I call and tell them I am not home during those hours and I NEED AN AFTERNOON APPOINTMENT !
I was told that delivery goes on their schedule, not on my schedule and I either need to be home or have someone over the age of 18 here to receive it !! After arguing with them for 30 minutes I finally just hung up and called my local store. The operator that answered after listening to my story finally gave me the delivery companies # , I called them and they agreed to bring it on Saturday morning. They showed up this morning and did not have my Stove !!! After them making several calls they finally found someone who knew where my stove was and they promise to bring it back this afternoon.
I had to sign paperwork that they had delivered and it said on the paperwork that I did not receive my stove, but I am almost certain that I won't get me stove today and will probably have to fight with them that I didn't receive it . I will never make another purchase from Sears.
