FRISCO, TEXAS -- Sears has the worst customer service. I bought Kenmore cooktop in October 2011 and I have an extended warranty up to 2016. Last October called them for crack on the cooktop. These people giving me the run around not to replace the product. When I purchased the product the sales person told me they will change if anything happen to the cooktop. Buyers be aware Sears' scam.

LAWTON, OKLAHOMA -- I bought a Kenmore stove. Soon after purchase one of the top burners kept getting hot. I got a hold of person I bought from at Sears. He said he would get a repair man out. Well lo and behold never happened after several attempts nothing was done about it. So I call their repair service. They informed me no request had ever been made at this point the warranty was no longer in force. Sears does not stand by their items even when they're major. Will not shop there anymore.

Will Never Shop at Sears Again

WESTMINSTER -- I purchased my slide-in Kenmore Elite on July 3rd. I AM STILL WAITING FOR IT!!! They rescheduled number of times, every time claiming that it is due to manufacturer's delay. I spoke to number of people there, went to the store where I purchased it...no help. They kept on promising to deliver and then changing the delivery date again. At this point I am beyond frustrated. I will never ever buy anything at SEARS again. They don't know anything about customer service. I hope they go under, so nobody else gets fooled by them again!!!

Paint peeling

HOUGHTON, MICHIGAN -- Bought a Kenmore stove and the paint is peeling where the heat from the oven comes out and the Sears guy told me to go and buy some paint for it.

PENNSYLVANIA -- We went to the West Mifflin, PA, Sears at Century III Mall looking for a gas range. The salesperson immediately walked over to help us. She listened to what we wanted, suggested a GE gas range that was in stock and on sale, and arranged for delivery and installation. We got our range on time 11/16 and installed. The installers took away the old range, explained the new range and its features, and had everything done in 15 minutes. We love our new range! Great job, Sears!

Paint Peeling

ELLSWORTH, MAINE -- Dec 6 2006 we bought a new stove and fridge. They were Kenmore from Sears. On Jan 27th 2007 we called to tell them the paint was peeling on the stove where the control panel is. There is a vent from the oven there. We were told that our extended 1yr warranty had expired and there was nothing they could do, there was no recall on the part. Why do I need to pay for their bad paint job?
