HUMBLE, TEXAS -- I applied for Best Buy for security asset. Once I applied, I gave it two days before calling to speak to a manager about my hiring status. I called everyday for a week and it seemed as my messages weren't getting through, so after a week, I went in to speak to a manager. For one, I never even got to speak to him/her. I spoke to someone else and apparently I didn't meet the requirements and my availability wasn't good enough.

I have 4 years in the military as military police/correctional officer. How is that not enough experience! Second of all, in the availability schedule, I put in full time plus weekends! I was told that I didn't get a phone call because I didn't apply for mornings, the damn store doesn't open til 10am and I put in from 12 to close! I didn't get hired for a 2 hour difference!? You call opening at 10am morning shift!? Yeah ok!
FORT MYERS, FLORIDA -- I ordered a dishwasher on October 15th to be delivered, installed and the haul away on November 5th. The salesman even told me that I had to buy an installation kit because they would not install with old equipment. On the 5th the dishwasher was delivered. The delivery guy told me there was no institution on the ticket and that he would not haul away because the old one was disconnected. I called Best Buy. They offered me a $50 gift card. My husband installed the dishwasher. I called the delivery guy to reschedule the haul away for Friday the 8th. Got an email the next day. It said that My haul away was cancelled. Called Best Buy again they said that it was still showing as scheduled in the computer. Was supposed to get a call with a time frame for Haul Away. Never did.
Called Best Buy again who said that I was not scheduled for Haul Away on the 8th. Suggested that I call the delivery company when they open at 5am. I suggest you don't buy anything from Best Buy.
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- Did you call Bestbuy customer service lately? Well, don't waste your time. My online account was used by someone else and I called Bestbuy to help me reset my password; they couldn't help me. Reason? They said that helping me would violate privacy of the "hacker" while fraud department still investigate the case (5 days has passed since the case opened). Would you be worried about your own privacy/identity and credit cards then????!!!! Stay away from Bestbuy.com.
Don't save any credit card in Bestbuy.com online account. Don't open any credit card with Bestbuy.
MONTROSE, OHIO -- They are terrible. The whole thing is a scam. There are plentiful small shops that repair computers everywhere run by actual people that know about computers. Check Angie's List or a reliable review site and find a real computer repair place. Geek Squad hires guys that generally know very little about computers. The scam is to get you to agree to pay them $35 to have them send the computer to their repair facility, where you will wait a long time, until finally they come back with an unbelievably inflated repair cost - which may not fix the problem you are having. Either way, they make $35 and you get to wait, and wait, and wait - both for the repair and then when you go try to pick up the "repaired" product. I only took the computer there because I bought it there as a "Best Buy special edition". That did not seem to help them know what was wrong. COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO -- I bought three appliances and accepted their offer of "3 years interest free". Big mistake. I was within $200 of paying off the entire balance when they charged me $1,300 in interest. When I asked about it, they said the promotion was for 18 months. When I told them what the salesperson told me, they could have cared less. They said the contract indicated 18 months. That contract is four pages long and #3 font.
My bad for believing a salesperson, but they just lost a customer for life along with anyone I can convince to avoid this horrible store. Perhaps you will be able to avoid my fate. Shop elsewhere. They are in trouble for a reason.

NORTH RIVERSIDE, ILLINOIS -- So I bought a phone from Best Buy. An iPhone. And it didn't work. The phone won't send messages. I also purchased a screen protector and a case for it. Unfortunately, the screen protector didn't work. So I went back to return both items and all of the employees were very rude to me. They wouldn't take back the phone because the screen was supposedly scratched. So, I explained that I would've protected the screen but unfortunately the screen protector didn't work. So they offered to install one for me. It didn't work. Twice. Total faulty product. So I plan on spending the night going back and forth between trying the screen protector and exchanging it until I get one that works. They should have products that work. By the way the manager was Lucy. She was very rude. This place needs an overhaul in their customers.Add reply

MARGATE, FLORIDA -- Purchased a new Samsung Galaxy III in May, took it back in August because the battery won't hold a charge.
