Sponsorship of American Idol with Lady GaGa obscenity
By -

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2011 American Idol show... until the Grand Finale. This show is extremely popular among all age groups including little girls and boys ages 6 - 10. To allow the Lady GaGa performance on this widely watched show was disgusting for the youth of America. We want our youth to grow up in a healthy environment and act responsibly. Then we subject the tender young viewers to decadent behavior and expect them to somehow turn out all right.

SHAME on the FOX Network for allowing such a travesty of justice. SHAME on the Ford Motor Co. for sponsoring such an event. SHAME on the producers of the American Idol show. AND, the grand LOSERS are our precious little ones. Many in the international community think of America has a decadent society. The 2011 American Idol show proved their point.

Unfair Lease Practice
By -

Leaser beware. Ford has a stipulation in their lease agreements that will not allow you to return or trade your leased vehicle with anyone other than the originating dealership. This practice forces you to return to the dealership that leased you the car. If you try to trade that vehicle with any other dealership including another Ford dealership and that dealership sends in the correct payoff it will NOT be accepted by Ford Motor Credit. By the time you find out about the problem your payment due is now considered late and you are being dunned by Ford for lack of payment. Thought you should know.

Cares little about customers
By -

My Winstar has the bad rear axle. I checked on the net and found that 100's possibly 1000's of owners had a buyback. Ford would not buy mine back. Instead, they are going to pay $38.00 a day for the rental, which adds up to about $3400.00. I would be happy to sell my van for that amount, but instead Ford just makes another unhappy customer.

I'm in the Antiques business and need a good size rental. They provided a very small vehicle that is of no used to me in my business. So I will be unemployed for three months. If I was able to get a rental van, and there are none available, it would be $8.00 a day out of my pocket. So I would be out about $700 or $800. Why would Ford treat a customer so shabby. As long as I live I will never spend another cent on any Ford product.

Just Say No To Ford!
By -

Have had Complete turbo replaced at 33,000. Fuel water separator on rail replaced. Truck always smelled of diesel in the cab. Truck was kept in great condition always, never abused. Had various problems with front end. Last time had it serviced at Jack Demmer Ford, which is also where it was purchased. Had 1,600.00 worth of service in the front end. No problems with this dealer. It was up to the FORD adjuster, who for some reason turned down the claim. Granted it was 1 month or so out of warranty, however the miles were FAR under the limit. I feel this was a poor move on FORD'S behalf. It has been 1 year, and I still feel the pain.

Ford Motor Company Does Not Care About Their Customers.
By -

DEARBORN, MICHIGAN -- I have a 2008 Ford Escape with 36,372 miles on it. At this time the SUV already has a leaky transmission cooler that needs to be replaced. Ford Motor Company will not honor my warranty because I have gone over the warranty by 372 miles. I went on vacation on Saturday (January 2, 2010) and drove 400 miles down to Maryland. Within that time period my Transmission Cooler began to leak on Sunday (January 3, 2010). During the trip from Ohio to Maryland is when I surpassed my warranty. Also the transmission cooler is not covered under the power train warranty.

I am only 24 years old and I cannot afford to pay 1,000 dollars to fix this problem with my SUV. I have contacted Ford's customer service, they had no compassion or understanding of the situation. With only being 24 years old, I still have a lot of car buying left to do. At this point in my life I would have to really think twice about buying another Ford product. The Ford Motor Company does not care about their customers.

Obviously this is another situation where I am from out of town and I did not buy the car from this Ford Dealership. I believe they should still find a way to meet a customer's needs either by making an exception to the warranty or by honoring a Customer Concern Resolution.

Transmission Problem - Ford Expedition 2006 Model- No Reverse
By -

Hi All. Pls let me know if you have had similar problem & how it was fixed.. Thanks. Ford Expedition 2006... Transmission problem - No movement when put into Reverse (R). I took my SUV to the Dealership for its regular maintenance, I also told the Mechanic that sometimes, I hear a "Clunk sound" when I put it in reverse. The car runs great. The dealers' workshop was supposed to only change the oil & do the routine maintenance as per Ford recommended manual.

Today they called and said the "car won't go into reverse". When I took the car to them it was for oil change, now they tell me the it can't go backwards. I went to the dealer, asked him to put into gear (R) and the lever goes to R but the vehicle will not move. The vehicle has never had any problems. Always, routine maintenance on time (once I had to change the AC compressor).

I am sooo mad at them, I am going back there in the tomorrow. I REALLY WOULD appreciate any input about this. So that I know if what they are saying is true.. The car was running great when I took it in & now the reverse gear is not working. So disappointed. Thanks. Ford06.

Ford 6.0 Diesel Is Junk!
By -

DITROIT -- I have a 2005 F350 diesel. It has been in the shop more than I have had it. 3 times with oil problems, the engine would dump all the oil out. Each time I took it in to the Ford place it was a different problem. Got it out of the shop drove it to S. C. on the way back the injector #7 went out. Cost over $800.00 to fix. Got truck back it was out 1 week. Now the high volume oil pump is out. That is another $1400.00 to fix.

I still owe on this truck. How much more do I have to spend to keep this crap running. Can't Ford get their act together on these 6.0s. There has been problems on these engines since 1997. You would think they could get something right. I'll never buy another Ford. They are junk!

Factory Flaws
By -

I purchased a '96 T-Bird (11/95). The transmission flutters between gears if your foots not in it, very annoying but still works. The key ignition will hardly turn, binds and will pull out of the socket. The paint is a beautiful Ford Black with a 10" by 2" flaw on the top of the Deck Lid. The front window seal has never matched the window. The fuel cutoff was bad order and is removed. The drivers side door panel never fit right and was warped. I have had TERRIBLE DEALER SERVICE state to state. The air conditioning only works on cold days. Part of the air conditioning vents were broken.

Another Rusted Oil Pan
By -

You would think that Ford would stand behind their trucks. Mine has been in for service many times and only after it turned over 1000000 miles did they say I needed an oil pan, and for $2000. They would do the job. It will be fixed, not by Ford, and the parts will be bought and not from Ford.

They do not stand behind their products. I've owned several Ford diesels, this is my last. CPS's were the same issue at one time {around $100. when yours went}. Ford says no problem there. But when they finally admitted there was a problem and did a recall the price dropped to around $20.00. From $100. to $20. They do not care about the consumer that buys their product. It's only $$$. Good Bye FORD.

Ford Motor Credit Lease Rip
By -

KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE -- I co-signed on a Land Rover for my ex-husband in '05. He filed for bankruptcy leaving three co-signed vehicles (total) in my lap as well as a newborn baby. I traded one (GM) and one (VW) to turn over the debt into a new vehicle - making one payment instead of two. Lastly, there was the Land Rover lease, through Ford Motor Credit.

My then husband was not keeping up with car insurance, allowing intoxicated people to drive it and not making consistent car payments. I had no choice but to turn in the leased vehicle back to Land Rover. With the birth of a new baby, $30k+ debt left in my lap, loss of a 2nd home income and the economy/my business crashing all around me I could not keep up with the year and half lease left on the vehicle.

I am now being sued by FORD MOTOR CREDIT in the state of Tennessee/Knoxville. They will not settle with me. I offered them 2k - over what I can pay right now but fair - they said NO. Knowing my situation - I offered 4k - with a payment plan - double what I could possibly afford and they said NO. I tried to get a loan to help pay off this debt but cannot get a home equity loan due to their report on my credit.

They are suing me for a total $13,000.00 + for the "broken lease" although the vehicle was surely turned right back around in a short time. Knowing my situation...they do not care to work with me and they want BLOOD out of a STONE. SHAME ON THEM!
